Frolov pulled away, no point in waiting.

With Frolov and Gabby up front, Im thinking either Christensen or Anisimov should center this line...gonna go with AA.

Went with Prospal, although it's kinda throwing all the eggs in one basket

Christensen, I'd at least like a bit of familiarity out of the gate.

I went EC. Anisimov could probably handle the load and has a decent skillset to pair with them theoretically but let's not rush this one. If EC doesn't fit on that top line he's virtually useless the rest of the line up unless he generates more chemistry.

Went with AA. May be a season too early for him, but I think he could do well with a big winger like Frolov on one side and a sniper like Gaborik on the other. Spreads out the skill, too.

Even though he is probably more effective as a winger, I went with Dubi...I just think his ability to keep the puck cycling in the offensive zone is going to be very complimentary to Frolov's game

prospal.

this line could be very good actually for @ 2 months until torts the clown overplays them at even strength and pp and wears them down. which im certain he will do.

this configuration doesnt leave much else for line 2 though. i guess this way your line 2 looks like dubi ec/arty midget. not very imposing. at all.

im not sold on ec being anything more than what he is. dubi just isnt a 1c (or a c at all for that matter) and arty needs to play the 2 or 3c.

its prospal by default here though i would prefer line 1 not have fro on the left.

EC to start out with. We have plenty other options if he falters.

This. EC either takes it and runs with it... or someone else has the job by November 1.

Got to start off with Christensen. There's too much raw talent there.

I don't know who to vote for...

I'm not on the EC bandwagon. I like Prospal at wing a lot better. I don't think Anisimov's ready. Drury? White?!? **** no.

If Frolov and Gaborik are our 1st line wingers, I think Dubinsky would compliment that line the best. But Torts prefers Brandon on the wing, so I don't see it happening.

Guess Prospal, if he's in last-season's form.

Anisimov is not going to start out centering the first line. The coaching staff will continue to ease him into a larger role. It makes no sense to dump that kind of pressure on him.

EC on the top line has to be the worst top line center in the league. He's as soft as a pillow and has confidence issues up the wazoo. I don't understand the fascination with him at all. I was hoping all summer the Rangers would let him go in free agency, but of course we just had to see if he wasn't a fluke....

I voted for AA because of his play style, but Dubinsky is my 2nd choice.

is it just me or was EC not THAT good as a 1st line center. He had some chemistry w/ Gaborik sure but he was too inconsistent for that position. Maybe he finds his game. Maybe he breaks 40 points but I doubt he will break 50 and have a hard time believing he'd break 60. What else is he contributing for that little production?

just where i happened to write him down at....not sure side matters as much for D...besides when I do the poll it wont be left side and right side, it will just be for the pairing.

it obviously matters to Tortorella, as he rarely used d-men on both sides (except on the PP).

Christensen starts the season there. Hopefully Anisimov forces Tortorella (or Sather according to some) to play him on the top line.

EC belongs on the FOURTH line let alone the first. He's lucky he gelled with Gaborik, but people need to understand he's very replacable and a young core guy like AA deserves those minutes on the first line centering.

Voted EC, but I personally do not like the fact that Frolov, the new guy in town, is getting the 1st line position... why not have the successful 1st line of Prospal-Christensen-Gaborik, like it was when the season ended?

I just think that the aforementioned 1st line can help spread out the offense more.

I don't know... maybe I will be eating these words when the season comes around.
