Todd White for Dummies Video

After an injury prone season last year. If he impresses torts in camp he could be replacing Boyle.

Check the video out

I maintain that White could be the top line center next year

You arent the first person to throw that out there, But can you see him at 35 logging those type of minutes ? Especially with him perhaps breaking down from injuries ?

I think the clincher if he was that good why did the thrash trade him for brashear and rissmiller ?

I know ATL is strapped for cash , but 3mil and only one year left on his contract.

and thanks King !

ive talked to Thrasher fans a lot about him. They said he is garbage and rode Little and Kovalchuks coattails for his 70+ point season.

It's nothing but pure speculation to say that White would be directly replacing Boyle.

I'm betting he isn't healthy during the pre-season.

From Ottawa here...Todd White's from here and played here too.

Decent NHL calibre 2nd line center on the downswing of his career. Playing with Gaborik might result in a productive season. Between him and Drury, Rangers have more depth down the middle. Both great faceoff guys.

Dumped Brashear's salary (which is not needed anymore after overpaying for Boogaard)...

Good trade for the Rangers.

Now here's hoping you guys buy Redden out and Ottawa picks him up again for 1 mil per year

I think the injury issue will be the only reason Mr White isn't lacing them up with Gaborik by Halloween. If Todd White is healthy he will get a ton of ice time

Boyle has to bring a snarl this season or face demotion

I agree. He is a good NHL center and despite being 35 he is the best center on the NY roster.

Most rangers fans have written off the captain but I think he will have a nice bounceback season and I would look for him to center the 2nd line

NY won't buy out Redden, they will either keep him on the roster and cut bait elsewhere OR Wade goes to the AHL. Another possibility is that Slats finds a trading partner who also wants to rid himself of a terrible contract, but the terrible size and length of Redden's contract makes him basically untrade-able

Also from Ottawa's perspective I like their blueline. Getting Gonchar was a sweet move and Kuba is a very fine defensemen too. I don't think they need Redden... even at 1 million
