Hey guys, I have a friend going to the game tomorrow and wants to know where the opposing teams go in the Wachovia Center before the game for autographs. Thanks for the help in advance.

When are you planning on going? The stadium won't be ready until the June 27th game. May 15 will be at the Linc.

For the Linc, take the Market - Frankford Line to the Broad Street Line and take it all the way down.

I'm not an expert but for Chester it looks like the R2 Highland Ave stop is closest but it's still like a mile walk from there and I have no idea how safe it is. Taxi, maybe?

Get them at the hotel because it's just way easier. Almost all teams either stay at the Ritz or the Four Seasons.

On the parkway side of the Four Seasons is a small door that players exit through to enter the bus parked on the parkway, some hotel worker will come out and put up a rope but guys sign there like crazy. Its super simple and I've never seen more than 5 to 10 guys there.

I thought they were tying transportation into the new stadium...given that everyone was concerned about the whole Chester environment...

I think Chickie and Pete's crab fries should get an HM in this thread. Best fries I've ever had.

Feel really dumb asking this, but...

Ok, so I wanna take my friend out to watch the Flyers game tomorrow, and she and I are both under 21 so a bar's kinda out of the question. Where are some cool places in the city to just chill and watch the game? I feel like an idiot cuz I'm from around here but I'm drawing a complete blank. Thanks for any help.

Honestly your only real bet is a sports bar. That said, if it's the kind of place with tables and food, you're not going to get turned away on a thursday @7pm.

You can still get into Chickie's. And like UYA said, just go to about any sports bar like that, and you should be fine. Just make sure it's not like a McFadden's which looks like a sports bar, but it's really just a bar with the game on haha.

A great way to pre-game if you're in the city.

Hey guys!

Couple of questions:

I'll be coming over from Germany for the game against the Penguins on Oct 16 and I would like to know if there's a possibility of taking pictures with the team and getting autographs from the guys before or after the game?

Do they charge for the parking at the W.F. Center?

Thanks in advance,
S.U.

Can't speak to autgrapahs/pics, but:

Parking is ~$20 at the Wach center itself, but getting out after a game sucks.

I like the Novacare center on pattison for ~$15. Or if the Phils/Eagles aren't playing, you and park within a super easy walk at FDR Park for free.

Pretty hard to get at the games. Sometimes the players will stop their cars as they pull out of the Center and sign.

Best bet for autographs is going to the Skate Zone for a practice.

Hey guys, I'm going to be in your city on the 23rd and was looking for any suggestions on the best way to spend a day in Philadelphia. I was thinking of checking of the Rocky steps (cheesy, I know, but my friends will get a kick out of it), the Liberty Bell/Independence Hall, and grabbing a cheesecake. Also, if I have time, I'd like to get a tour of Lincoln Financial Field as I'm a huge Eagles fan. Anything I'm leaving out that you would recommend?

FYI there's FREE parking across from the Wachovia Center.

It's a park. That's the only info I'm going to give out.

Don't go to Pat's and Geno's for a cheesesteak. They suck.

Try to get to Steve's Steaks. Even Jim's Steaks on South Street is better than Pat's/Geno's.

If you're already going to the Rocky steps, if you have time, and you're into that kind of thing you may want to check out the actual museum itself.

Cheesecake? Pretty sure that's NY. For steaks, there's also Tony Luke's if you're going to be in the stadium area.

Other places you may want to hit up.
