With the moves made, are we still on the outside looking in, or do we potentially have the firepower now to actually make a run at this thing? We are still missing our Gaborik caliber player for the Top 6 spot, but seriously....the bottom 3 lines are leaps and bounds better than any other time we've had.

So where do you see us finishing?

Depending on injuries, somewhere around 7-10.

I need to start golfing again. Hopefully next year I'll have a lot of bills/debts paid off and can get back out there. There's a driving range right down the block from me too...if only the gf didn't work every single weekend so I wasn't on kid duty.

Oh, the Wild? I think they'll be within a couple games of the last playoff spot one way or the other. I think last year they did worse than they should have AND the team is stronger on paper.

Same here although golf is an expensive sport for a poor law student.

This Wild team is devilish hard to predict. They sucked ass for the first month or so, caught fire and played some great hockey until the Olympics, then fell flat again. I like the fact they have added proven hard workers and haven't lost any key pieces, so I would like to think the overall effort will improve, as will the final spot in the standings. Gopher's 7-10 sounds about right to me.

1st round and out sounds about right for this years team. I dunno, I cant really see them getting past some of the perennial west conf playoff teams. especially since we'd prolly be spot 7-8 so playing vancouver / SJ etc.

Above 13th in the conference, but still outside looking in come playoff time. We're still not there yet.
