I listened to the internet radio... so good when Braun scored, but well...

Good thing from the ticker:

Thank´s for the Eisbären fans who created a great atmosphere to the arena.
Gut gemacht alle, danke Schön
Seriously, that's good to read... good for the DEL, and of course because they support the right team.

Lets go Eisbären!!!!

Anyone seen the game? How's Regehr doing? I read that the penalty after 18 seconds was because of a KO hit on him.

Just listened to the radio like you did, but on the Eisbären forum a reliable source said that Regehr has got a concussion.
Hope he's not out for too long...

Aw, I'll help you hope
I actually registered for the forum (lets brush up on my German skills ) but didn't get a confirmation or something... I did get a pass, but they still need to activate.

Seem like the only ET game today is Frölunda against HV71.
If I find a stream, I'll post it.

On home ice, no less.. Completely humiliated.
Does not bode well for the rest of the tournament..
The first five was scored in the first, which, all things considered, could explaine the poor effort in the second and third. But from what I've read they looked bleak in every aspect.

Maybe they were a little bit to confident and getting wack by HV which is still a very good team will bring them to earth.

HV is a great team and there's no shame in loosing to the SEL champions. And like you said, this could be a wake up call. Playing Malmö earlier, a lover division team, might have had an effect on their speed. Hopefully they'll bounce back.

It must be very encouraging for HV to see Daniel Larsson have such a great match. I think a will do a great job replacing Liv, if so I think HV will be hard to beat once again this season they know how to win.

Slimmy do you know if Daniel Larsson is still property of the Detroit Rec Wings?

I don't know.. Ask around in the SEL thread. I haven't followed SEL or NHL for quite some time. Been way too much football lately. But European trophy really kickstarted my interest in hockey again.
Hope it developes to something big and ambitious.

Todays games? No luck with streams so far.

The match Adler Mannheim - Djurgårdens IF (August 18, 19:30) will be streamed live (link). Don't know where at the moment, though.

Another edit:

Today is going Jokerit-Hifk. Rivalries are playing in front of full arena. After first period game is 2-0 for Jokerit. Good start for us. Still Jokerit are missing there first and second line centers and Jani Rita.

We were missing most of our team...

i sure hope e.g Ville Peltonen, MG, Järventie won't get injured. Because if they do, we are in trouble.

IFK is strong, but not deep. We saw it today when we lost to jokerit because our 'star players' were not in the team.
