Seeing Fischer still on the list, I have a question. What would occur if we signed fischer now? Do we still get the 2nd rounder? What if we sign him after the 2011 draft? Do we go against any rules? just curious.
I have Subban and Eller 1-2 like most obviously, and then have Kristo, Tionordi and Leblanc, and then Weber. I then have Avstin, and that's where things start to differ and dramatically, but at that point things are so projectable you can start making arguments for lots of guys...
Actually, my biggest problem with that list is Tom Pyatt : he's played well for the big club a good chunk of last year including the playoffs. So either he's not a prospect anymore and does not belong in the other notables, or else you gots to find him a nice spot in the top20, ain't no way around it.

"Subban was also called-up to Montreal during the 2009-10 NHL playoffs, due to the Canadiens' blueline being weakened by injuries, including captain Andrei Markov."

i'll probably get accused of being a 'thread pooper' again, but someone already started this thread. Enjoyed the write up, although i don't think they went as deep as they could have into the more important prospects.

Habs have until august 15th to sign him, that's why he is still on the list, so if we sign him now, we lose the second rounder. I f we sign him later, I believe we are ok.
Maybe they mean 'captain of the blueline' andrei markov?
Actually yes. That's along the lines of what I meant to say. Silly mistake on my part.

He's extremely close to graduating as a prospect, so I decided to leave him off the list, rather than exclude, say, Nattinen. Once he does, it would be a "top 19" until the next update.
