They didn't say much about anything online. They didn't let us online at all actually. They focused on gameplay, glitch goals and new features.

Any ideas what kinda custom jersey we should wear? We could try to make jerseys that look like the Flyers jerseys or design something totally different.

Crossing your fingers for a logo that resembles a dick and points down so that when someone on the other team goes down into the pass block it looks like they are blowing you?

Well its not like any of us cant try to make one and then take a pic of it, then just tell the one guy the settings in the create a team.

Everyone go for it then. I prefer an older style, two colors type kind of thing. Not alot of modern ******** crazy arm and side striping etc.

Most of the Logos will prob be lame though.

They will be cheesy and lame... i think a letter / an existing NHL logo (if thats an option) would be better. Just change up the color sceme or something. Im sure we'll find something appropriate for our team.

Yup.

When the game drops I can put some templates together. Something like the alternate Oilers jerseys except no Oilers logo?

If you look at the logo they currently have for create-a-team they are terrible. There is like a snake, a cowboy and a tornado. I'm all for using an NHL logo. The canucks alternate square C with the hockey stick would be cool. They also have the whalers jerseys in this year which has an awesome logo.

We don't even know if you can use an NHL logo or not yet.

If I "tryout" or whatever, what is the commitment involved? I don't HAVE to play every game, right?

No, but if you play a game every 2 weeks, you'll more then likely be booted.... thats usually just how it goes. If you play like a few nights a week, 3-4, and your good, then sweet.

Its really kind of a chemistry thing. If you drop in for a few games here and there, it could **** **** in the ass

Since I haven't been following '11 that closely yet I tried doing some research today and can't find much about goalies other than new gear pics and such.

I have read that AI goalies will **** the bed more often and be out of position, which is awesome. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to have even a mediocre skater >>> a CPU skater, but a goalie with absurd stats is only marginally better than a CPU goalie (other than glitch goal prevention, which is always clutch)

Did you get to play goal at all during your trial Irish? Or did anyone else you spoke to that has info on fluidity of movement, new controls or anything else (like whether or not they made pokechecks an actually legit save option, for example)?

PS. If they took out the hug post button then please break the news to me gently. That **** is my bread and butter.

I'd like to play, but I just moved into an apartment with wireless, and don't have an adapter. So that might be awhile. Also I seem to bring horrible luck with me in online games, my winning % is awful.

I LIKE playing Center, but I'm much better at D.

We can only hope they keep that so the Penny Arcade Hotsteppers have an appropriate logo.

I expect nothing special with the custom teams though. I also don't expect them to fix any online league issues (aka shootouts in the playoffs and not being able to re-play dropped games).

Demo is very good! There is a sweet new toe drag move you can do with the LB and the faceoffs are very realistic.

Other than goalie upgrades, I most wanted them to revamp the faceoff system. After doing fights and boardplay last year it seemed like a pretty logical progression down the intimate nuances of hockey category... maybe next year they will stop trying to refine the finer intricacies of the game and focus on the most important position on the ice.

Pikachu I got your message on XBL I just rarely answer on there. Most of the team knows you already anyway I think. I'll ask them all for a vote and get back to you.

Pikachu Trial Member - Yes or No? Send me a message on HF (Adam) or text me your response.
