They are NOT Danny Markov and Krajicek... I'm 100% positive now.
I agree that the #2 would be a Hatcher Replica/Authentic being he would be the only #2 in the Reebok Edge Era to wear an 'A'... and it surely ain't Hatch.
Any chance they broke out into teams and took jerseys of that team?... Maybe one had Zherdev on it and picked the Flyers... That could explain so many O&Bs and players that had no attachment for the Flyers wearing one, like Brendl or A. Markov, etc.
... Just brainstorming here.
EDIT: Notice Ovi's jersey and the others wearing one like it... there seems to be two jerseys (except for that one red Russian one in the first photo). Backs up my teams thought.
Actually, it has been much shorter than usual. It just seems long because every morning I wake up is a reminder that Holmgren ****ed my team in the last 2 months.

Yeah it has been super brief actually... And then most all the transactions were up front before everybody stopped for the Kovalchuk fiasco to play out. Now we are bored and itching for the ice... and for them to raise up the Eastern Championship banner at the Wells Fargo Center.
Nah, Krajicek is in the back. Guy with goatee, white helmet and visor.
No clue who no.2 is in the forefront, kneeling. I'd guess it's one of Kraj's friends.
The guy in #2 is not Krajicek. I thought it might be him in the back, but I'm not so sure.
Hasn't anyone ever played pick up hockey in the summer? Whites and Reds vs. Blacks and Blues? Anyone got a black jersey? Yeah, here's a Carter on - or maybe it says Brind'Amour or Holmgren on the back???
Seriously, no clue but it's really bugging me now. I liked the one thought of Zhamnov and someone else....I can see that.
Could be Lapointe??
What about that Russian that we had for a little bit with the serious drinking problems....was it Kovalenko?
Like Danny Markov... but not so much... Zhamnov was was more fair than the players there.
The guy you're thinking about I believe was Danny Markov... Great little D-man but Clarke wasn't happy with his smoking and Vodka consumption. He looked nothing like any of those players.
No, not him. This guy had to go to a program for it and all. Maybe it was afinosenkov or whatever. It was a while ago....possibly around the Lindros/Leclair times, but I'm not sure...
I loved Markov and the black flowing hair. He was nuts! I think we got a friggin 4th rounder for him....was not happy that day!

This one has "In Kovalenko, the Flyers get a talented right wing with some red flags in his past. The book on the Russian forward is that he's a bit of a troublemaker who loves to party.
"From the people we talk to, the people he's played for, they liked him," Clarke said. "They liked his talent, they liked a lot about him. They said you have to be careful with him, he may drink some beer. But a lot of good players have drank a lot of beer over the years."
#2 with an A could be Mark Howe too, or Yushkevich (did he get an A ever?)
It's just a couple of guys wearing jerseys someone had lying around - probably Ovechkin as a joke.
Mark Howe was long gone by the time they went to the Reebok Edge jerseys... We do have to apply some kind of reasoning on this, my friend... And I don't believe Yushkevich ever wore an 'A' anyway; Howe most certainly did but with the old Orange Roads long before they ever thought about coming out with the Black Alternates that were to become the regular Roads, and later their Homes.
I doubt they went out and bought Flyers jerseys in Russia to tease Ovichicken... and I don't think there were some lying around. We may never know the real story though.
Here comes FDP to save the day ))) His name is Nikolai, his association w the Flyers - he knows that they exist ))) he is friends with Kovalchuk (who is also at the same camp). He does not play professionally (and I dont think that he should! LMAO) Will post another pic shortly...
