The guy in #2 is not Krajicek. I thought it might be him in the back, but I'm not so sure.
Hasn't anyone ever played pick up hockey in the summer? Whites and Reds vs. Blacks and Blues? Anyone got a black jersey? Yeah, here's a Carter on - or maybe it says Brind'Amour or Holmgren on the back???
Again, Reebok Edge so no Brindy or Homers... has to be Carter and Hatch.
I agree that it is definitely not Krajicek... and I agree that they were probably for teams in Camp. There were Flyers and there were those that Ovi had had... and there were a couple others in the first photo.
No, not him. This guy had to go to a program for it and all. Maybe it was afinosenkov or whatever. It was a while ago....possibly around the Lindros/Leclair times, but I'm not sure...
I loved Markov and the black flowing hair. He was nuts! I think we got a friggin 4th rounder for him....was not happy that day!
Danny was here the season they went to Game Seven of the Eastern Finals... I could swear he had long blond hair, and he was fair rather than dark.

This one has "In Kovalenko, the Flyers get a talented right wing with some red flags in his past. The book on the Russian forward is that he's a bit of a troublemaker who loves to party.
"From the people we talk to, the people he's played for, they liked him," Clarke said. "They liked his talent, they liked a lot about him. They said you have to be careful with him, he may drink some beer. But a lot of good players have drank a lot of beer over the years."
haha
I may be losing some grey matter but I don't really remember Kovalenko... It must be two Russians then that were moved due to partying. Markov definitely got in trouble because of the Vodka... or, right or wrong, at least that was the word on the street... They also said that Clarke didn't like the all his smoking due to lung condition. I believe he was said to smoke during games between periods.... but who really knows.
Personally, I would have resigned him after the Lockout... I loved his game and heart.
Again, the guy in the Flyers univorm is not a Flyers player. He is best friends w Kovalchuk and actually Zherdev too. His name is Nikolai D (something)...

Are you serious and actually know the answer? I thought you were kidding like everybody else.
As serious as a heart attack... Funny thing - he actually has a better shot than Ovie (I know - hard to believe)
If his shot is better, than the rest of his game has to be gawd awful... or else he'd be in the NHL for that alone. I imagine he can't skate well, or just has no game at all, huh?

IIRC he wore it stepping in when the normal "A' was scratched... At that Time I believe Primeau wore the 'C' and Rico, Rex and Johnny Vermont were ahead of him on the list of alternates.
I'm certain that Desjardines had and 'A' but for the life of me I thought BOTH Recchi and LeClair had one... My best guess, based on memory, is that Recchi had it and Johnny was the first to step up... With Weinrich down the list somewhere.
I know that Recchi didn't get the 'A' back until the season after he returned, and then I thought he kept it every game... LeClair I thought got an 'A' when Lindros left... and I believe Rico got it when he gave up the 'C' to Primeau in 2001 or so.
I also remember Kapanen having an 'A' at times... I'm wondering if there was some sort of rotation at that time, although Recchi and Rico are so clear in my memory as regulars.

Game? LOL He is just a beer league player with an awesome shot. (You did not notice the beer gut???) Really nice guy overall, but NHL players when training with him do remember that he is NOT on par with them and go easy on him. Listen, not everyone who can consistently deek Pronger belongs in the NHL or in any pro league.
As for the DUI - that whole story was kinda crazy - the video is shot AFTER Markov was pulled over, told the cop to go F himself and tried to drive away only to crash into a parked car.
