Lol, the OP has yet to come back to his own thread, let alone when he actually knows the game better. I think we'll be waiting a long long time

we could only hope to be run as effeciently as the Sabres...

think about it, if we were as effective with managing our assets as they are AND continued to be able to spend to the cap, we'd have a heck of a more talented roster, don't you think?

we'd basically be the Red Wings... or the new look lighting

Ya why are we so cheap, we have a HUGE 4 mil left on the cap with just our #1 goalie not signed yet?

Dude comon! You're complaining because we didn't resign Metropolit and Moore? Our 3rd line of Boyd-Eller-Lappierre is probably the best 3rd line we've had since Yvon Lambert was playing with the Habs. The only problem with our bottom 6 is that it's soft, not that it's our kids who are low payed, which btw is what everybody wanted all along for 10 years now. How can you say we're like the Sabres when we have 6 players payed over 5 mil? We're finally blending a good mix of veterans and rookies and now you think is the time to complain?

Honestly man, come back when you know the game a little better.
Excuse me but Kost-Lang-Kost was dynamite.

I agree with the rest though.

You are perfectly right - it's not like he's looking for a second chance with the habs like the others.

It's called being conservative in a strange cap world. There's a difference between being cheap, and being thrifty.

Rangers spend to the cap and frontload contracts.

No, cause that line lasted about 10 games, and was Lang was our 1st line center that year.

Anyways, i'm still pissed off of that crap i wasted 5 min of my life reading.
