Apparently there are 3 leagues this year for eashl: elite, professional, and amatuer. The demo also says someting about "drop-in games" ?

and my vote is yes for that dude as long as he doesn't put a tinted visor on his guy.

Here some more info
Quote:
All new dressing room: Gather your teammates in the dressing room to pick your positions and get ready before matching up against an opponent. Are your friends currently in a game?? The dressing room will show the matchup taking place. Play a drop in match or practise, then join your teammates for the next EASHL game

Maybe a "spectator mode" for people waiting for their teams EASHL game to be done....that would be sweet.

That would be pretty awesome. I'd worry about it lagging the game up, though. We know how great Dan's connection can be.

Its a great game. the goalies are so much better. Glitch goals are improved, but im sure there are still some that we dont know about yet. The passing is more realistic as its not a direct pass everytime.

I really like this demo so far. Been tinkering around with Ultimate Team feature. Pretty good stuff. Got dealt a solid team to start, but im sure all of us got the same team with Chara Malkin Backstrom Hall Seguin Kadri, etc.

Cant wait for the game to hit stores. I should probably go reserve it.

They gave out almost ALL rare cards for the Ultimate Team demo. Real starter teams wont look like that.

Irish is online going to be set to Hardcore?

I really like the deking and the shooting, the hitting isn't as overpowered as i expected it to be. I like it but i still have a feeling EA will ruin it with tuners

I realize that, but that is probably my favorite feature in the new game.

The Ultimate Team has a ton of potential.

I will be sure to keep tabs on you guys over here to see if you have any cards I (or other Penny Arcade guys) want. If anyone gets a Recchi card when the game comes out, please contact me ASAP. Haha.

I mean I guess I'll have a UHL team just to play when no one is on? Although, I rarely ever get on unless other people are playing so thats probably a moot point anyway.

Dan, Harv, vote on pikachu you ****ing ********** your the only ones left.

The demo: Hitting is pretty sick, its probably tuned up alot tho because its the demo. The wristers seem pretty awesome as well from what I've gathered. I messed around with the dekes a bit and there is a bunch of cool ones. However, against human players a simple hit would probably do the trick on D.

I'm trading in NHL 10 and FIFA 10 shortly to reserve NHL 11, so ya.

Also Hub, Andrew is moving in with me on Thursday so I'm going to **** you up in Madden shortly.

The AI has been roasting me when I go to lay them out, so the dekes should be effective at dodging the idiots who try to destroy you ever time you gain the zone. Wristers the power is good, but I think they need to tone down the accuracy a bit, I'm picking corners at will in the demo.

Sounds like they tuned it up nicely to make it more realistic. Is the new physics engine good?

It seems pretty good, love the hitting. Each hit really is different from the next, no scripted crap.

Only negative was it seemed that I broke the CPUs stick way to often, like 6 times in one game. I mean yeah its realistic but kinda stupid

I like the whole broken stick concept. I've broken my stick several times now on a shot from the point. Adds something to think about during the game that I like.

If it happens like 5-6 times a game, that's kind of ridiculous. If it was like 2 a game it would be cool.

I like it as well, but checking people into the boards and breaking their stick doesn't happen that often in real games.

Yea, if there was one issue with the game, I would have to say that would be the one. Everything else I like. Its a much more difficult game to play, essentially.

One of the best parts is that every cross crease basically gets intercepted, which is good for those cheap players.

I don't like the cross crease interceptions, because of how goofy they look, but I'm ok with it. What I wish you could do was zip a hard pass that your guy would try to deflect into the net, would be tough to defend but tough to get accurate so good human goalies just go butterfly and take it away.
