We had the FU Center and the Wack/Wacky... Across Patterson is the Bank and across 11th is the Linc... The Vet was once also across Patterson.
And of course many call the arena the Big House or simply the Center.
The Wacky is now no longer in play as the Wachovia Center is now the Wells Fargo Center... We will most certainly not call it that.
Wells Fargo has been around for over a Century and in their early days they were known for their Stage Coach Mail Delivery Service and the Pony Express... Should that be considered rather than going off the name or current business operation?
Just for fun I have a few suggestions that can be voted on... But in the end, the name will come naturally from the fans and can't be forced; I totally understand that and put it out there before I get called on it.
The selections are:
The Well - Can't go there too often without paying.
The Coach - Playing off the old stage coach carrier.
The Stage - Also from the carrier business, but also denotes venue.
The Barn - As in where the horses are kept and 'Come to our barn now'.
The Stable - The actual place where the ponies are kept.
WF Center - As in WTF
The Big House - One of the old generic ones.
The Center - Also an oldie but a goody that came naturally.
