yea vaughn is no doubt the best goalie equipment on the market today. the vaughn rep came in a few months ago and showed us all the new stuff. they can literally customize anything for you, and not just cosmetics, but pretty much anything on the pad so that it is personalized to fit you the way you want it to fit you.

i have itech pads and eagle gloves. i love my eagle gloves. i used to have heaton helites like marty circa 95-02 but they were way too small. vaughn owns eagle now but they still let them do their own thing which is best

Yeah, it would've been a bit better with at least a goalie but meh, it's all good.

Definitely a change of pace from the past 2 games playing with 30 guys and 4 goalies. I'll be on vacation this weekend so I won't be at those games unfortunately.

So I smashed my goalie stick into pieces today before work for reasons I care not to share..anyone have any recommendations?

I have about $110.00 to spend on one.

I really like the Reebok X-Pulse X5 and I can get one on clearance for $40 bucks at GoalieMonkey.com but I thought I'd see what some of you would recommend.

I had to buy another freaking S19 today. I cracked two in like, a two week span. 1 I had since February so I got my money's worth. It saw a lot of ice time. The second was one of the Clarkson Pro Stocks I bought at the Devils equipment sale.

For those of you who care about this type of thing, the Sakic curve is 100% identical to the one Clarkson uses.

Helmet - Bauer 7500, Bauer Aviator halfie.
Shoulders, shins, elbows, pants - Bauer One35s
Gloves - Bauer Vapor X:40 SEs
Skates - Bauer Vapor X:40

Sticks I use are Clarkson pro-stock Easton S19 - which is a Sakic curve and about 61", and a S19 Sakic curve, retail. (Edit, they are both 100 Flex)

Can you tell I really like Bauer stuff? LOL

If the team goes to the harvard red jerseys everyone's probably still gonna wear black socks too right?

My team out of Aspen Ice in Randolph is looking for players for the fall/winter season. It is a D league but plays more like a high C. 16 games plus playoffs, shoot out tie breakers. Most games on Sunday starting between 4 and 9 and an occasional Tuesday game. There is a team fee that determines the price each player pays for the season. Pretty much the more guys we get the better. It is looking to be about 400 for a player if we get 15 guys. Our team just shed our dead weight from last season and is looking to add new and skilled players. Let me know if you guys are interested at all.. We need to submit a down payment by first week of September. We aren't looking for Studs exaclty (though would be sweet) but more of guys that can skate and know what they are doing... no offense, but no beginners please.

PM me for questions or whatever.. THANKS!
I'm down if you are still looking for players. I live in Morris County and I go to school in the Bronx, but I don't have classes on Mondays so I should be good. My dad and I have Giants season tickets, so if there are any games around 1 on Sundays I may not be able to make them. PM me if you still need to fill some spots.

I need to do that next weekend, I'd love some ice time like that to really work on some individual skills, like shooting and backwards crossovers.

I'll be there again, I'm sure. $15 is well worth it to get some practice.

11:30 tonight at Floyd Hall. This could be the inbetween one where some of the college kids left already and still are still getting ready for their seasons.

Curious to see.

I use the FBV 90/75.
best for working on backwards skating is to grab the net and just start skating backwards.

depending on the result of Thursdays playoff game, I may show up at Union for the last time this summer
