Bill Guerin to Attend Flyers' Camp (posts #227 and #277)

I am hearing the Flyers may bring Bill Guerin in...another great fit when you think about it. The last time Guerin was available the Flyers had interest, but they also had Mike Knuble, who was considered very similar.
i think that would be a pretty good signing

Agreed. Get Carcillo out of the top 9.

Fedotenko would be a better option. If your going to go that route.

He would be nice to have on the third line. They would have to trade one of their forwards though to make Room on the roster and on the cap.

Would prefer Guerin to Fedotenko all things considered, but who is out if he comes here?

I'd say Carcillo. He makes too much money for his skill. I hate to see him go cuz he really is a fun player to watch but I think Guerin improves our chances of winning.

One of Fedatenko Nolan or Guerin would be great.

I would take either, but I think Fedotenko would be better because IIRC he is Ukrainian and may help Z out on the team. Also Fedotenko became quite the Flyers killer after he left us if my memory serves me correctly.

At least Carcillo puts the puck in the net more than twice a year.

Please no, he's the worst top six option available. I watched plenty of Pens games the last season and that old man is unable to score with the world's best playmaker constantly feeding him magical passes.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Anything to keep Carcillo out of the top-9. Would have liked us to have gone after Recchi though earlier this summer.

I'd also rather have Fedotenko than Guerin.

The type of game Guerin plays is not really suitable for the bottom six. He's a scorer, not a grinder. However, he doesn't do that well at scoring anymore...

So is the league going to let us dress extra skaters because we have no goaltending? And he's done, but then again, if it gets Carcillo out of the top nine...
