Which signing has you most excited?

A. For the Rangers summer 2010

B. For the NHL summer 2010

a. The Rangers - Although I am very happy with Sathers thrifty summer signings of Brandon Prust, Girardi and Christ.... I will say Frolov because he upgrades the top 6 and is a known NHL talent

b. Since Kovalchuk continues to be an unsigned drama queen I will say A TIE between Paul Martin to the Pens as a UFA and the Gagne trade to Tampa

The best signing for us this offseason were the ones we didn't make. No handcuffing, ******** signings.

The best signing would have been a new GM.

Considering we all know he's GM for life, that's just a nice way of saying you wish he died.

Until the drama queen is signed elswhere I'm wary of Sather pulling an end run.

Although having the KING and The Queen might have it's upside. I'm ready to go with things as they are.

If we can get a real good season out of :

Avery, Prust, Boogeyman = Grit

Frolov = added scoring

Biron = quality starts , rest for Henrik

Drury = Capt intangibles needs to bump that 32 pts from last season and wash that memory away.

And everyone else plays their game we should be a decent team thats fun to watch

best move of the offseason? probably the Devils signing Volchenkov.

our best move is yet to come. Bringing back Staal to a long term deal.

The best signing for the Rangers was Zherdev signing with the Flyers. Let them see how their new offensive 'threat' responds to playoff hockey.

Hate to tempt fate. Niko is a very talented player with weird motivation issues. God help us if Laviolette figures this kid out. Regardless, I expect Niko to be very motivated when playing against the Rangers

Hm.

The Boogeyman and MZA for me.

Frolov is a no brainer too.

I'm most excited to see MZA. I don't necessarily think its the best signing we've made as Frolov is a lot more of a proven commodity, but MZA has the most intriguing story and potentially has a high ceiling, so I'm more excited to see him.

Around the league, I hate to say it but Volchenkov to the Devils is probably the smartest move made. It Doesn't excite me too much since its the Devils, but it was a great move for them.

Best signings for the Rangers this summer:

Derek Stepan, Ryan McDonagh, Dan Girardi, and soon Marc Staal.

OT sort of, but since we brought up Zherdev...

I hope MDZ puts him on his azz accept this time it will be our team transitioning the other way for a goal.

For us it's Frolov but hopefully soon to be surpassed by a longterm deal for Staal.

NHL - Blues getting Halak could be huge for them.

I can't say I got excited by anything. If they were to sign Staal to a long term deal at a reasonable compensation, that would be pretty exciting.

Not much to get excited about in the Frolov signing as it's only for a year. No long term implications there. Which may be good or bad.

Aasen's a long shot. Hard to get excited about that.

There was some worry they might not sign Ryan McDonagh. The fact that they got it done was a relief. But it's hard to get excited about a completely unknown quantity.

I guess I'm still waiting to get excited.

The Frolov move has me the most excited but the MZA has me the most intrigued because he's a much much more unknown quantity.
