I was just thinking about this last night, and then I saw that other guy post it before it got locked. I thought he would be a great fit.

Torres - Malhotra - Hansen
looks like a great 3rd line.

....I mean the guy still didn't have a source at the time. But still, moral victory, DinoD.

I like this signing if true but I seem to remember he was pretty bad in buffalo and was a healthy scratch in the playoffs

I actually posted this rumor the other night on my blog. Score for me.

Torres is a great addition for the bottom six, Gillis scores again.

Confirmed by anything other than Dan Murphy's tweet?

*edit* BTW, my brother-in-law once shaved his head in male pattern baldness and went to his high school Halloween dance as Hunter S Thompson. Never knew if he just saw Fear & Loathing or actually read it.

I was reading the province today (forget who the writer was) and they were talking about how if Mike Gillis was reading this article he should be looking to add bigger crash and bang players. Guess he does read the province!

Remember a couple of years ago when he was still an Oiler he would always score a few against us?

I'm happy with this.

He had awful conditioning when he came to Buffalo and that definitely put him in the doghouse very quickly. He missed several regular season games as a result at the end of the year and when he did play was completely ineffective.

It'd be hilarious if this was all based on Dino D's post and he turned out to be trolling.

Torres averaged 17 minutes a game last season, scored 36 points (19-17), averaged 2:15 on the PP, 0:00 on the PK and threw 84 hits in 74 games.

Hmm...
