Hamilton-Edmonton is pretty good, because they play against each other a lot, and because many players on both teams were teammates, when both the Oilers and Habs farmed in Hamilton.

I would imagine St. Johns (NFLD) and Hamilton is fairly big too, as many Leaf fans converge on Copps Coliseum. It will probably intensify next year, as the Marlies arrive in Toronto.

I've always wondered about Rochester-Syracuse. They are pretty close to each other, and play in the same division, so I could imagine those games are heated as well. Plus, I think both have fairly strong fan bases. I would also imagine that other cities in upstate New York would also engage in some big rivalries with each other.

Rochester and Syracuse are indeed a huge rivalry. The games can get very intense, both on the ice and with the fans.

I think the P-Bruins have developed a few new rivalries this year with all their brawls.

Definitely, It is all because they play so many games against the teams around here, much easier to bus to a arena so they stick around here. They definitely have come to hate one another. Big rivalries I say would be Bruins-Monarchs and Bruins-IceCats.

Was. The Bears haven't had much in the toughness department the last few years and it's taken some of the edge off recently. Hopefully, whoever Hershey signs with for next season brings the Bears out of the bottom as far as fighters go, you can't expect to have one guy who fights a bunch to defend a whole team in the A when a majority of the teams end the season with around 100 FMs.

I know one thing we've heard about in Omaha with the AHL coming is an "instant rivalry" with the Des Moines Stars (actually called the Iowa Stars). The USHL Omaha Lancers-Des Moines Buccaneers rivalry was really big back in the day and still kind of is. Personally I can't wait for the first Knights vs Stars game.

Bingo-Rochester is getting back being pretty warm and as 27 mentioned, Rochester-Syracuse is usually very intense.

starting next year HABilton and Toronto will be huge

Even Des Moines and Omaha could be a good one right off the bat.

i wonder how they'll realign the divisions?

St. John's-Hamilton. That's what I am going to miss about having the Leafs here because the saying goes is that if you are not a Leafs fan here you're a Habs one.
