- 16 Habs games on TSN
- 29 Habs games on CBC (All Saturday night Habs games will be on CBC)
- 6 games on Versus in the U.S

Not bad. What's weird is the Habs don't play on Saturday 4 times this year.

However this is very good for English only viewers in Quebec, 45 Habs games on English TV. CBC will most likely show most of the Habs games in Quebec only but considering the Leafs will suck, we might have more nationally televised games.

Habs also have more games on CBC than the Leafs. Habs 29 Leafs 24.
Habs have the 2nd most games on TSN behind the Leafs 17.
Habs have 6 games on VS, the most by far of any Canadian teams. Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver and the other ones on VS with only 1 game each.

not bad at all actually considering cbc will show (i counted 29 games could be wrong), including some off the chart games like

Sat Dec 4, 2010 San jose at Montreal (2pm)
Fri Dec 10, 2010 Montreal at Detroit (7pm)
Thu Dec 16, 2010 Boston at Montreal (7pm)
Thu Feb 17, 2011 Montreal at Edmonton (9pm)
Sun Feb 20, 2011 Montreal at Calgary
Sat Mar 12, 2011 Montreal at Pittsburgh (2pm)
Sun Mar 20, 2011 Montreal at Minnesota (7pm)
Sat Apr 2, 2011 Montreal at New Jersey (7pm)
Thu Apr 7, 2011 Montreal at Ottawa (7pm)

even though i havent really respected cbc, good job on them showing a lot of games, most coverage given to habs,

Great, I used to love watching the games on Rds, in las two years I really can't take it anymore. they totally lost me as a viewer and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yup, Habs have the most games of any team on CBC. Leafs are second with 5 games less.

This just means more games will be streamed online probably, for all you people who still use that. (myp2p etc saved me during the cable-free years, love those guys still)

Very good news though

I was just wondering if the 29 CBC games are gonna be nationally broadcasted in Canada and not just the Quebec area? I'm from Ontario and last year the Habs seemed to barely get CBC games, nothing close to 29 thats forsure.

Well CBC will broadcast every Canadian teams games that are on Saturday. My guess is that quite a few of those games conflicted with Leafs games and they will prioritize the Laffs in Laffs territory.

if you have bell express vu, you should be able to watch the games because they have all the regional cbc channels, some in hd, including the montreal one, i am not aware of the other cable companies, i know rogers does not have the montreal cbc (for some odd reason), i dont know if that has been changed, but again if anything check with cable provider,

Just like the Emporer did.

Yup. The amount of games they broadcast means diddity squat, what only matters is who is getting shown nationally. And for the Habs, its a rare occasion. I think there was maybe 3 or 4 non-leaf habs games on national CBC last year.

The game against the Sabres is also on TSN. Stupid TSN couldn't pick up one of the games not being broadcast on RDS.

Talking about preseason games. RDS is showing 4 and there's 3 that aren't being broadcast.

Don't care about the scheduling too much, I want to know who will replace Brunet and what will the rest of their ''team'' be.

Yah they are but they were lesser evil considering Brunet was on rds last year. I looked for any reason not to listen to Brunet last year, people complained a lot, I just looked to avoid listening because it was causing me to literaly go insane.

I haven't been impressed by rds the last couple of years since Pednault left, they really lost me as a viewer, I know I'm one person, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
