How is this offtopic? Either way sureeee! i wouldn't mind having him in the line up. He'll be injured for about 70 games anyways and if anything help us win the other 12 while putting us on the cap floor. Plus from a business stand point he'll bring the tickets in as well.

I put OT because it's about the NHL... not specifically the Avalanche.

I was gonna put Semi-OT but I like the preset prefixes HF gives you

Wow, that article uses the DP as their source when the DP used another source for the whole point of their story...

So basically, nothing to see there...

Old news. The latest news from the Foppa camp is that it is looking doubtful that he'll return because his foot is giving him hell again

It should read:

TFP put Forsberg's Foote in their mouth and he Yelled at them so they were Deadmarshed for being so Young.

Forsberg coming back

I liked Forsberg when he was a younger player; but now that he's older, I think he's more of a risk for the Avs to take back. I think Forsberg could be a cancer to any team he'd come to in the NHL.

I realize this may be crazy of me to say, but Forsberg reminds me as today's Ovechkin. Just because of how they both played the game.

Forsberg hasn't said a word about trying to get back to NHL. Basically he said in July he will see how his foot feels while playing three games with the Icebreakers in August. Dater then in a fit of journalistic freestyling ran with it by blogging "Forsberg, of course, is thinking about another attempt at resuming his NHL career." which is pure fantasies from him. The Fourth Period wanting to get traffic I guess then copies that story.

There is nothing here. At least nothing based on reality. Just ****** journalism.

I think there's a better chance we might see him in Tampa. Hedman, weather, second fiddle, third line leftwingin' - second-PP-unit rightwingin', Yzerman, Gagne, international play players, solid defense, golf, Lord Stanley, you name it.

You can't compare Ovechkin with Forsberg. Ovechkin is a joke. A cliché.
