haha it's so funny how numbers on hockey jerseys can be ugly, but they can!

I'm sure there is some meaning behind the number for him. Not too many snipers wear numbers like 31.

That is an odd number though.

Biron is probably going to take 43.

At least he didnt take Callys 24...
He really didn't have any right to the #. Cally's tenure here is longer and he's wearing a letter.

Frolov's taking a goalie's number.

Must be backing up Lundqvist.

You're right. He had no ****ing right. If he did he wouldve been lambasted without even stepping on the ice.

If a number impacts your hockey skills, you have problems.

Yeah, I think goalies are like the guys that are made to wear 1, 30-35, other than 32 and 33, but yeah I find it weird for a forward

The site is reliable based on what?
I've personally never heard of it, you'd think a rangers blogger or the official site would have something like frolov's jersey number or at least a hint at it.

He wore #24 for LA but cally has that number already so i guess he went with something higher rather than lower IF the site is true.

Because it's a well know french-speaking hockey site, with realiable source and who never make big splash a la Eklund ("Kovalchuk will sign with Edmonton ") and as far as i read this site, he never been wrong. So let's just wait and see !

Squishy reported it first on twitter, the guys at DLC got it probably from her.

I had him in my NHL 10 franchise last year as 26.

Its how I picture him in a Rangers uni, and what I wanted to see.

Squishy reported this based on a report from Russia a day or two ago...people have been retweeting it (and occasionally forgetting to credit her).

Do people really care about the number he wears? I think most of you will forget about it when he pots 30 goals.

I was actually being a little sarcastic... forgot the

but even if i wasnt, who cares - this isnt a legit topic? We are just bull******** about the number...

Why are people so uptight about this? We discuss Henrik Lundqvist in vogue but we cant yap about a jersey number?
