There is absolutely no way the Rangers consider this deal. Adding Weiss does not make them a Cup contender, so why would they give up their top offensive and defensive prospects to jump from 7-9th in the East to maybe 4-6th? Makes no sense.

Weiss scored 61 points (28 goals) on THE PANTHERS last season without Booth most of the season. He will be captain next year for Florida when McCabe is gone. So if you want him, you're going to pay. The kid is just starting to hit his potential and I think can do even better if the Panthers put some real players on this team.

Enough said about prospects and their HFboards value.

Booth is untouchable. He's a fan favorite, and he seems to be exactly the type of player Tallon wants. And no team will give us what we would need to move Booth because of the concussions.

If for some reason he was dealt though, Florida wouldn't want salary coming back and would want prospects/picks.

No argument with this.
And respecting same, NYR wants to keep the bluest of its blue chips.
Grachev is not as truly untouchable as Kreider, but is not going anywhere unless NYR are OVERWHELMED.

Dubi, IMO, I consider available.
Some nice but lesser prospects + picks available.
But if NYR not looking for a lateral move for depth + seeking talent upgrade, not sure what you have that you would offer that we would want.

But feel free to try again.
