Im a little surprised that Callahan isnt there. If he had attended and Drury had not I would imagine one or two people would be making cracks about who the "real" captain was.

That's because people see what they want to see.

This is totally irrelevant. What matters is how they play come October.

Del Zotto worked out with Gary Roberts? Wow. The Rangers should hire Roberts for a new position called Ass Kicker. He can stare the muscles into the players. Turn the Hobbit into Brind'Amour.

Hopefully, they worked on his conditioning. He seemed very tired near the end of last season. But then again, getting used to the number of games in the NHL, compared to the OHL is very hard for a 19 year old.

Brooks posed the question a few weeks ago. Not so much as, what if Redden looks reborn in camp, but what if Staal still hasn't signed by the time the season begins? You're putting a LOT of faith in, and pressure on, three rookie d-men to fill out the bottom half of the blue line without Redden and Staal. Realistically, it's Wade's only shot.

Roberts has always been known as a gym rat and a work-a-holic. That is why he was able to play so long the way he did.

Stamkos trained with him last offseason and he came back a different player because he was stronger, faster and quicker. MDZ and Stamkos are friends. He will be in much better shape when he gets to camp this season as compared to last year.

I'm excited about MZA - hopefully he becomes a decent top 6 forward.

one can only hope that Foppa helped MZA work on his passing. it's already fantastic, let's just hope it's Foppa-esque.

Me too. Our core is still together, and growing; getting better.

We signed a LW that can create space for his teammates, and can score. For a bargain. Not talking about a one-dimensional loser like Kotalik.

We signed/traded a couple of decent players who are superior to the Voros's, Brashears, and Lisin's we had last season.

Boogaard, (hate the terms on his contract) will smash things up.

White and Kennedy may not start, but both can contribute a hell of a lot more than some of the scrubs that were cluttering things up in our line-up in the past.

All in all, we haven't done too much, but the minor tweaking Sather's done this off-season works for me. As long as Staal is signed, and our core isn't gutted out, I like the direction we're going. To a certain degree, obviously. .. .

I felt like a teenager again last week. You know the feeling... Where summer's coming to an end and school's about to start again. It's both good and bad

I love this time of year though.. Football and Hockey are about to get underway.. Seems like my mind wakes up.. I go into a mental-auto pilot mode during the summer.

He speaks pretty good english. I know that doesn't matter... Just saying.

I'm looking forward to this kid, as well, just because of what people say about him and makes me excited how this kid is going to play. I don't expect much, but I hope for a real good season.

Love your avatar, Big Boss is my hero.

Redden is going to light it up this camp just to keep his job, then suck as usual when the season starts.
