I think everyone acknowledges that, but unless you win something, you're going to have put up some pretty amazing stats elsewhere. Lundqvist could very well do it, but if you're comparing two guys with great stats and one is a championship winner, you're going to go with the winner.

I don't--but as far as I'm concerned, Lundqvist hasn't done enough here to be considered great. Richter set the bar pretty high and while every goalie needs a supporting cast to win a Stanley Cup, Richter did his part too and deserves credit (plus, he was a Ranger his entire career).

If Lundqvist stays here his entire career and continues to put the kind of numbers up he's already proved capable of, then we'll see. But right now, for me, he's not among "the greatest" Rangers.
