Leblanc didn't score in his 2nd preseason game...

http://www.rds.ca/lhjmq/chroniques/305582.html

After the frontpage news that he got an assist on an empty net in his first preseason game, RDS is now reporting that he didn't score in his second preseason game...

This is ridiculous. Way to mount the pressure on the kid RDS... It's not even the regular season yet and he makes the headlines... when he doesn't score? What's next? "Leblanc prend sa première dou.che dans le vestiaire du Junior"? "Leblanc a un dégagement refusé"?

Atleast I guess he will be used to the Montréal media machine by the time he turns pro, that is if he does turn pro and doesn't crumble under the massive pressure being put on him already.

What, he didn't score? Trade him to Tampa Bay nooooow!

I agree that this will be a pain. Will likely have an article on every single one of his games until the real Habs season start. Then it will only be when he scores a goal. Or an assist. Or makes a hit.

He tells them to create the threads, then he just lurks in waiting to post very quickly in it.

Seriously, the french media needs to give this kid a break. They never learn, always overhyping local kids.

I can't believe we drafted this bust... has it even been confirmed that he speaks French? He played in the US, maybe he's actually an American...

Bust.

Sure, he may be French, but he wasn't playing in the Q. He hates Quebec, like Gauthier.

Trade him.

Man what a loser, why did we waste a draft pick on this guy?

RDS is way too desperate for column inchs, need training camp to kick off for some real stories.

What a disgrace.

How is this guy supposed to be our #1 center someday if he's not able to score in a major junior preseason game. Really, guys....wtf.

Fake french kid from Kirkland.

Don't worry, Quebec is full of puck bunnies. He's bound to score a few times this season. If Ricci could, anyone can.

I think Gauthier owes us an explanation and start thinking for an alternative. This is unacceptable, he's french, he must be good!

Even O'Byrne would score by now, sure it might not be in the right net but a score is a score.

soon Leblanc will be renamed Labust Just like Fischer turned into Fizzle.
