I keep Moen unless the piece coming back in a trade is impressive. He was great in the playoffs to.

T Kos would've been a better option than Darche, both Moen and Kosto would've been realy awesome.

Is it injury problems?

Because if I am not wrong since 2006 he has a pace of 61 points / 82 games (and 51/82 games in Career).
He was also trade three times since 2003.

Is it possible that Comrie gave a deal to the Pens?
Comrie has big time attitude problems too.

Moen =
+ Great leadership
+ Team player, play reader
+ Size, Good checks, Necessary fights
+ Balanced play
+ Adapted to CH

BUT
1,5M and alone in his roll.

In another thread, the Nb.1 priority for CH was voted: BIG STRONG WINGER. Keeping Moen and getting another big size man would be ideal.

I don't think Ryan White offers more than Moen. whose experience came through in the playoffs.

Some fans are always looking to get rid of players. It's a wonder they don't look at their own hands and think that their little fingers are useless and that if they were lopped better ones would grow to replace them.

Add talent and Gionta's efficiency becomes much more valuable in that specific role.
Moen doesn't have Gionta's baseball skills and I'm pretty sure that our next Metropolit PP secret weapon will be Eller (and Subban, and Desharnais later on...) if he's able to play with confidence. Both goals in Eller season 2009-2010 were deviations and I'm sure that he can score in many different ways. On the other hand, Moen seems to be only able to rush the goalie with the puck and hope to score. But once again, scoring isn't his main role.

I like Moen a lot. Just like the goal Watsatheo brought up, I think he's got character and good team spirit. He's a real warrior. We need warriors.

A vet who can fight, hit, PK and keep up with a top 6 game if necessary, and people *****ing cuz the Habs had to pay a UFA premium to get him...durr lets replace him with a rookie for 500K!!!

Some people will never get it that experience matters in the NHL.

Toronto just payed this guy 3 million btw.

As a matter of fact i'd like Moen to stay a Habs for the rest of his career.

We don't need to replace Moen. What we need is more like him. Rugged wingers on the third and fourth line don't hurt teams as long as they are defensively competent. Montreal used to have multiple players who could play physical and fight, when they suddenly decided they only need one at a time is anyone's guess but I would like this team to get meaner. I remember just a few years ago teams gave us respect when Souray and Rivet were in our line up.

Colby Armstrong has more offensive upside than Moen, but don't get me wrong, Moen can be on my team any day.
