I don't know where these trade ideas come from
There is no way we can afford a trade.
If we give up roster player we create a hole somewhere else.

For the prospects......... we have 2 kinds
one has an incredible upside and the other group wouldn't even make other GM's listening.
There are no players really available i would give one of our blue chips for
and like i said the other group wouldn't fetch any usefull player.

Both will almost certainly be available. Zubrus is a good player, although I'm not sure that he fills a need. Elias is past his prime and no longer worth his cap hit, and he's signed for what, six more years? I'll pass.

Only 3 more years but yah, I agree.

Zubrus in my opinion would have been an excellent alternative to other players that we have but can't see us going out of the way to do anything to bring him aboard now. Of course this is just an opinion but I think it would be totally surprising for us to show any interest at this stage.

Elias would be................ *nice*.................

(but not worth his total hit in my opinion, new deal? Sure.

I never saw POS play in the Kings. I started watching hockey right after he was traded. How was he?

I'd give him a tryout at camp, but I'm not really sure where he'd play.

I would welcome Patty O.............

It's not what he was doing over the last 2 years.
It's his potential. He has hands for 30+ goals.

I really doubt he is suited for WWE board wrestling but it's worth a try.
At least he wasn't that stupid like Yannick Lehoux.
That guy was a perfect example of self destruction because of listening to other guys.

As long as DL is the Kings GM I don't see POS being invited back.

I would welcome him back, the worst thing that happens is he fizzles out and is released, don't see how anyone could be against this, its low risk, high reward.

The Kings have skill issues when everyone is healthy and playing, with the way Smyth and Williams looked in April, it couldn't hurt having someone who has played well with Kopitar before.

No interest in Zubrus. We have enough quality 3rd liners as it is.

I don't think Lou will even consider moving Elias.

It has nothing to do with Dean, and everything to do with Patrick and his father.

His daddy issues are another story. I just don't think DL wants to deal with POS again.

Trust me, it's all connected. If POS didn't have daddy issues, he'd have a job right now.

I don't see any problem with giving him a tryout and maybe signing him to a one year, cheap ass deal. He has shown success and chemistry with the team before and his value is an all time low, and possible production is high. It is a no risk venture if he is willing to sign and you'd have to think that he has some interest. He wasn't too happy about being traded in the first place and was close to many players.
