I'm getting pumped for the VT-Boise game...just finished smoking a pork shoulder in my homemade smoking device, and will now crack a beer.

Whatever.

At least Va Tech had the balls to play them unlike every other school not from Oregon.

I think there were some iffy calls in this game. But otherwise great amazing game came right down to the wire.

even if that isn't called, Boise State still probably finishes off drive with a TD and goes on to win game

Right call, wrong rule. There needs to be a lesser call, maybe 5 yards for a play like that which was incidental and unintentional

Yea, they were pretty much going to score there, also that pass for the winning TD was perfect.

That was my thought, too, watching that play.

he stepped out once, with perhaps an inch of his foot, and was hit almost immediately after. kind of a ********* situation to pull that call out.

edit: i felt like i was watching a pittsburgh game for the last quarter.

The personal foul doesn't hurt as much if Virginia Tech shows up for the 1st Quarter. The last three quarters they were clearly the best team on the field. Thing is, Virginia Tech rarely wins these games where they're the one upsetting someone ranked higher than them. They schedule them because they get on TV so they can try and prove they've above the ACC, since there is such a bad stigma on the ACC, mainly because Virginia Tech created it.

Oh well, hopefully Boise State finishes the job. VT will get their Top 10-12 at the end of the year, muddle around next year with a new QB before they're hopefully ready to contend in 2012.

**** that personal foul call. Pettis kept running and came back in bounds after he stepped out. If he doesn't respond to the whistle why should the defender. That was bang bang and to make a call like that at the end of the game is arrogance. I hate officials.

I didn't care who won and was happy it was so close. But calls like that gotta go.

To be fair to the announcers, kellen Moore came out and proved quite a bit on that last drive

Oregon State has the talent to compete with anybody in the country. I would love to see them **** BSU up. Jacquizz and James Rodgers are far superior offensive players to Tyrod Taylor.

Truth, but I think BSU will shred the Oregon St D.

Could definitely happen. Mike Riley usually has his team playing really solid D even if they're not the most talented. He's a great coach. I was surprised to see them play so sloppily against TCU. Anything this early in the season needs a grain of salt though...

Moore won't win it. I got nothing against them, I got nothing against Boise. I support their cause, just wished it wouldn't be this year as they went through Virginia Tech. However, those voters aren't going to feel like watching Boise wipe the floor with other WAC teams on Friday nights.

Oregon State -- I think they win the Pac 10. Hopefully they do, they deserve the praise for scheduling TCU and Boise in the same year no less, and neither at home.

The Pac is gonna be an all out war this year. Hard to pick against UO but USC, Cal and OSU could just as easily win it. Wash, ASU, UA and Stanford will all be good enough to beat any of the top 4 teams. UCLA might even be decent. WSU is hopeless.

What's the outlook for you guys? You've gotta be improving or Hawkins has to be gone soon, right?

The latest I've heard on what the Pac 12 divisions would look like is

Division A:
ASU
UA
UCLA
USC
CU
Utah

Division B:
Cal
Stanford
UO
OSU
WSU
UW
