Just in case it's not clear, the "U20 maajoukkue" in the article is the Finnish Ice Hockey U20 national team, not a junior soccer team. ... And his Achilles tendon needs to be operated on, it isn't cut.

Well if it's only two months that's not too bad, not as severe as Chipchura's Achilles injury in his junior days. Hopefully it is not that big of an obstacle to his development.

I don't think Chipchura was that speedy of a player to begin with, is Naatinen?

Okay, so I'm assuming that his achilles tendon IS cut, and doesn't need to be cut.

If that's the case, only being out for two months is lucky. I would think that if it really is only two months, it's not as serious as some would make it. But recovery time is recovery time, be it 2 months or 12, so hopefully he takes the time to fully heal and be cautious.

Clearly I'm bias, but why the heck do I have the feeling that only Habs prospects are getting hurt THAT bad? Pisses me off....

The original Finnish article says nothing about "cut" in any tense, that's a translation error (due to same root word). He needs a surgical operation on his Achilles tendon and the preliminary estimate is that he is out for two months.
