Seguin's first year predictions

How many goals, assists, points do u think the B's next superstar will get in his rookie season. I'm gonna go out by saying 22 goals-31 assists=53 points.

I predict he'll make the team, but that's about as far as I care to go for predictions on him. Anything he contributes will be gravy, IMO...

20 goals 30 assists, he will start out on the Bergeron-Recchi line but half way through the season when Sturm comes back, he will play with Krejci and Wheeler and really light it up. Just a guess!

I just want to see the right attitude. Claude will probably bench him at one point or another so it'll be interesting how he takes it. If he commits to getting better and he improves throughout the season, that's all you can ask.

Rare for rookies to come out of the gate fast. We will see though because he is playing on a better team than most top draft picks are.

I really would be surprised if he gets more than 50 points but I wouldn't be mad at him if he did

That said, he will turn out to be an awesome player, there's just no reason to rush him.

50 goals and 55 assist in Plymouth, he will play the first 10 games and be sent back to the OHL. Colborne and Hamill will be the rookie forwards ready to play

Teemu Selanne's record is about to be broken.

I say 72 goals + 60 assists
1 Art Ross trophy
1 ROY trophy
1 Conn Smyth trophy
1 Thank you card to Leaf nation and Brian Burke

There you have it.

I'm probably the only one that's going to say he ends up with more goals than assists. He'll be playing with Rex and Bergy. Seguin will be the scorer on the line. 21 goals 19 assists, 40 pts.

I'm expecting what Stamkos did in his rookie season, something like that

He will be playing for Team Canada at the WJC and not on loan from the bruins ...... Way to much hype and pressure. Playing him in the NHL next year could really hurth this kid. Every year there a few 18 and 19 year old kids playing at very high levels in the NHL. All I am saying is that there may be a good chance that he is playing in the OHL next year. If he is dominant next week against the Islanders they we will have a good idea where this kid is at

Best to have no expectations from him and just watch to see what happens. He may or may not make the team. He also might not play a whole lot as in Thornton type of year. No need to put too much pressure on the kid. They have other prospects to take up his spot.
