Does Fowler not being on that list mean he's definitely starting the season in the minors?
None of the players listed in the Prospects Tournament are on that roster. Usually the team opts to invite some of their top prospects (some by default, others by merit) to come to the full training camp.
In this case, I'd expect at the very least these guys to be invited to the full camp for at least a little while:
Pielmeier (just to have a full 4 goalies)
Fowler
Mitera
Clark
with maybe Newton depending on how he plays in the Tournament
Palmieri
Etem
Bonino
Holland
with maybe Deschamps and/or McMillan depending on how they play

I should have stated above, the roster and schedule are flexible.
As others have mentioned, newbies can (and will) be added to the list.
They must "earn" their invite from the club.

I am really high on Clark and Holland but I really hope they dont get rushed. I see Holland as a lesser form of getzlaf and I have high hopes. And clark is a great physical defensemen and more time to develop physically into his body(he is still only 19 i believe) would only help his game out.
Whos going to training camp thia weekend/week? (I'll be there Sunday and Monday ) What are some players you hope make the cut? Besides the guarantees, here's some players that were invited...

Has our little West Coast Team grown up before our own eyes?
I recall being one of a handful of interested people at camp openings in years past.
The place was packed today with enthusiatic fans ready to wish the Ducks back to the ice. Lots of love for Teemu, Getz and Ryan.
Veilleux did standout with lots of energy and good contact. He wants a job.
Kids working hard and contributing some goals during the scrimmage.
Lots of enthusiam in the building, perhaps it will rub off on the team.
Ducks generous with the autographs, good grief, look at all the people.

This is exactly what I like to hear. I love hearing about people being enthusiastic about the Ducks just as I am.
Sadly enough I came down with a horrible cold Friday, and could not attend camp this morning.
Does anyone have pictures? Anyone in particular stand out, look good, does anyone look bad? Do you know if Mac has a new Ducks helmet? I would love any info, or review on today's camp if possible, it would be appreciated.
Not a day goes by since Ducks disappointing season months ago. Yet with Training Camp already Started....Things have started with questions. At least five on OCregister. Eitherway nothing should be left to assumptions or Predicts then seeing our team return back to Greatness. I am very confident this team can achieve their task in getting back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. D maybe Rebuilding but it should be needed our Ducks strong O must be utilized for the edge Ducks needed. The notion our team will not make it is absurd and Foolish.....for now i look forward for Ducks to Regain their Honor and restore Glory that is their own.
Also this is my first post here on HFBoards i am eager to talk Ducks Hockey and share passion of the Ducks with Ducksfans here.

Fowler is a better puck mover than anyone of our defenseman. Yes, better then Lubo. His calmness with the puck and ability to skate away from trouble is amazing for an 18 year old. No question in my mind he will be a top pairing Dman in this league for a long long time.
Sutton was very impressive today. Moves very well for a monster, has good control with the puck and is also very cool under pressure. He seemed to really enjoy being paired with Fowler and I could definitely see that as our 2nd pair as soon as this season if all goes well for Fowler.
Veilleux was flying around the ice with reckless abandon. In one shift he took two runs at defensmen and left his feet on one of them. At the end of the shift Brookbank cross checked him in the back to send a message. They jawed at each other for a bit then skated away. Not sure if he is always that feisty but he was definitely not there to make friends on his first day.
Getz/Perry/Selanne/Ryan all looked like themselves.
Beleskey has one of the hardest wrist shots I've ever seen. If he played a season with a playmaker like Getz or even Koivu he could def be a 30 goal scorer.
Koivu was FLYING today. IMO the best forward on the ice from start to finish.
Mara looked pretty solid
Sbisa was very physical and was always in the right position. I see some solid years from him but i don't think he will ever be a Power play Defensman.
Holland had some nice moves but is not close to NHL caliber yet, same for Palmeiri.
Etem has some speed but one of the worst skating strides I've ever seen at this level. At times it looks like he is going to fall face first. Also, half the time he stopped his skates would studder like he was still learning his edges. I'm really curious what the Ducks plan on doing with his stride. IMO he has a lot of work to do.
Funniest part of the practice was when during a routine transition drill Carlyle kept giving instructions right as Bobby Ryan was about to start it. After 3 false starts Bobby looked over to Sexton shook his head and said "F@$#".
