FYI, any recommendations to rule changes, speak now or forever hold your peace. Best to do it now while we're waiting for the draft.
An idea I had was at the end of the season, the bottom 8 teams have the right to request a "transfer" to another division. Their new division would be done on a case by case basis based on number of total requests. Good idea, bad idea?
I think the divisions should just scramble every year, with the exceptions of the 4 winngers
No Trade Limit, but there's a 3 day review period and 3 vetos are what it takes to overturn it. I made it strict because I know everyone here will be respectful and sportsmanlike, and if something gets overturned it probably deserved it. My biggest concern is if someone loses toward the end of the season, and are in near last place, they bail from the league and dump their team/draft picks on others, leaving the team high and dry for the next GM that comes in to take that team over after the guy bails. This isn't sporting, and obviously the rest of the league will frown upon it (I know most of you, and know you want to win but win fair. No point in bragging here if you're going to cheat, and let's be honest, everyone's going to brag). If you're going to leave, I want the team you're leaving to be in it's best shape so the replacement manager can come in and take over with a competent team. I'll likely also post pending trades in this thread so people are aware of them. If a trade gets overturned, I would guess it shows who overturned it, so we can discuss it here. In reality, if it isn't a trade where it's essentially screwing over the league or the team's future (like the "bail out" example above), then no one's going to care about the trade and it will go through. That's why veto rules are so strict. If anyone disagrees, let me know and we'll discuss it, but on top of managing my team, as league manager I have to protect the other 19 teams of this league as well, so that's my POV of where I'm coming from.
