The US has one camp that takes place in early August each year. This year's camp featured a series of games against two select teams from Finland and Sweden. The US players were split into two squads (blue and white). Each of these teams played the two European teams twice (four games for each team involved). Both of the US squads had strong showings and finished with better records than the Europeans. I can't find the stats that were posted on the usahockey website during the summer but I found one press release in the archives....

The team will be picked without any other camps. It should be quite a strong team seeing as there is enough depth to have two teams that were good enough to beat the Finnish and Swedish teams. There were a couple games against Sweden where the USA Blue squad dominated.
