The Habs Board NFL Thread

I didn't see any threads on here for NFL talk. If there's a reason for it, then I guess this will be deleted or moved.
I didn't create this thread for people to come in and compare the CFL to the NFL (seems threads about the NFL usually take that turn).

I'm a Titans fan, so today was pretty fun. Johnson ran for 142 yards and 2 TD's, looking well on track to bust out another 2,000 yard season. I know it's only the Raiders but a 1-0 start is a hell of a lot better than the 0-6 start I had to sit through last year lol.

Are there any other NFL fans around?

as a life long Vikings fan i am disappointed Favre came back and this team isnt looking into the future.
How ever he is better then anyone else they got and he is their only shot at doing something.
They should have drafted a QB with their first pick...
and I think Childress is a ****** coach
I wanted him fired three years ago...
you have a CB depth problem so you trade one to help fix your WR depth problem... and you dont play him until the 4th quarter....
ugh
I think it might be a long year....
how ever it has been only one week......

I think Vick is going to come in and work wonders for that team. He was just itching for an oppurtunity to show he is still a very good starter, and now it's come. I think Eagles fans have something to look forward to for these next couple of weeks. Like Vick or not, he is one of the most exciting players in the league to watch.

Oh I definatly agree with you, he played amazing and I've always liked Vick. I do wish Kolb had a better start though, as he is younger and seems to be Andy's guy. Lastly, I hope injuries to Weaver, Bradley and Jamaal Jackson arent too severe.. wouldnt want these guys out for too long..

I think i made my first fantasy mistake of the year. Starting Clinton Portis over LeSean McCoy. Portis is running like a girl right now.

Always been a fan of McNabb. Glad to see him win (there's also the fact that I hate the cowgirls)

Yeah I think the Jets tonight is a pretty safe bet.
Call me crazy, but I like the Chiefs at home tonight as well. I think they open their season strong.

I'm no Lion fan, but they got robbed BIG time! The rule is stupid, Johnson made the catch, had 2 feet down, landed on his back and then when he gets up, he lets go of the ball and it's incomplete? Really?

They need to change that rule!

Well I am a Raider fan and what I saw from my team on Sunday was a joke.
Same old crappy Raiders. Horrible
Until Al Davis leaves this world I just don’t see how it will get better
The guy can’t draft…period

Great idea for a thread. I like the Als and all, but..

Vikings will bounce back and win the NFC North. Book it. Favre still has one year left!

I dunno, my inclination is that there is football forum for general football chatter, and I don't see any reason to have an NFL thread in the Habs forum.

At least I'll mark it "OT" for now... let us see if it gets moved/closed thereafter.
