The Red Wings have a ridiculous amount of leadership, and some heart to go along with it.

For me it is New Jersey Devils

Madden, Stevens, Danekyo lead to way in the heart/leadership department....Nedermeyer and Brodeur are probably just going to get better in this area as well

I gotta go with the Oilers. The way they play is relentless and they have guys that just go out and give their all no matter what the situation is whether it be the last minute of a game when they're down by one, losing 8-0 or winning 8-0. Plus Ryan Smyth and Jason Smith play with some of the biggest hearts in the league.

I'm not sure the Predators have too many teams beat in the leadership department but not many teams can say they have as much heart as the Preds. It's hard not too like a team that gives 100% (even the goalie) every time they are on the ice. The team might not win or even look good, but every last one of them is skating his ass off backchecking or fighting for the loose puck.

exactly.

JMI I catch your points, but leadership can't be totally based on playoff experience and past leadership roles. SOme players are just natural leaders and they bring players up to their intensity

The Montreal Canadiens as one of the worst ? Man....

2 years ago they beat the best team out of the east with a bucnh of overrated veterants and without any good offensive fowards in the regular season . Last year they missed the playoffs cause Theodore was shaky and played bad for the 1st half .

How many former A's and C's are their in Colorado? Just off the top of my head they look like they have a fair few leaders.
