Same old crappy Raiders. Horrible
Until Al Davis leaves this world I just don’t see how it will get better
The guy can’t draft…period
Atleast there is light at the end of the tunnel with Russell now gone, and every yaer that passes is another year closer to Al Davis being gone

Got my shrine ready for tonight's game.

Shonn Greene's my only hope to win week 1
Also testing my voodooing skills on Philip Rivers.

Pathetic offensive performance by the Jets. Really sad. This is the reality check that team needed. Some humble pie was served.

That was ****ing pathetic.

Easy first down, and Keller runs out of bounds a yard short. What the **** was he thinking? The team was terrible with the ball all game long. They had what? Six first downs total? You're not going to beat ANY team with numbers like that, let alone Baltimore and their defense.

The Jets were facing one of the best D's in the league, but still that was a horrible offensive performance. IIRC, they did not convert a single 3rd, that's just pathetic!

To be fair, all he's thinking is I need to get both feet down inbounds and with the momentum, it's impossible for him to stop and run upfield...but that was horrible route running! You gotta know where the sticks, to know where to make your cut.

Yep, they were 0-9 on thirds.

I'm glad I worked til 9:30 today, so I wasn't able to fully pay attention to the game.

The Jets score better with female reporters than against a football team.

I was actually expecting a whole lot more from both teams, pretty boring game overall. Baltimores d is gonna be SCARY good when ed reed comes back.
Yeah I think the Jets tonight is a pretty safe bet.
Call me crazy, but I like the Chiefs at home tonight as well. I think they open their season strong.
Gonna ignore the Jets pick, too bad I didnt go with my gut and bet the Chiefs though.

Unexpected win from the Chiefs, but that's a divisionnal loss that shouldn't affect the Chargers claim to the AFC West title. The teams are so bad (including the Chiefs), I can't see anyone else but the Chargers winning it.

Now the Indy loss to Houston, that's another story.

Yeah, the Jags are the only weak team in that division and even they can win any Sunday, especially at home.

Best QB of the 2009 draft class? Josh Freeman.

6'6" 250lbs, great athleticism and arm, and most importantly he has the intelligence, moxie, and work ethic to make the most of his immense talent.

Monday and Sunday Night Football was awsome. Cassel and the Chiefs humiliating the arrogant Chargers and their annoying yapmaster Philip Rivers. McNabb in Washington beating "America's team". And the glorious Ravens with Ray Rice from Ruckers beating their ex D coordinator Rex Ryan in a defensive struggle that lasted until the end.

lol, actually i didn't take my own advise thankfully.......

I went with the under in both Jets and Chiefs games.

Jets game was an easy picking but man .... if the Chargers would have converted the final play I would of lost my bet. I thought for sure I was toast when they got the 1st down inside the 10. I was pretty damn happy at the end.

Since we do have a Football forum here on HF Boards. There is no reason to have a thread discussing Football here.

For those that don't know of the Football forum, here is the link.
