Just wondering if anyone had heard anything about Denis Parshin?

Is there any chance he comes to North America next year, and tries to make an NHL club? Or is he going to stay in Russia still?

I believe his contract in Russia has expired and he still has a valid contract with Columbus that he needs to fullfill. I think he would be an excellent 3rd line center in the NHL. He's 27 now; a lot more mature than when he left Columbus 3 years ago.

Apologies if this isn't the proper place for it, but I had a question regarding a former Russian player.

I recently purchased an Eduard Kudermetov game worn AK Bars jersey. I didn't know anything about him, but it was somehow cheaper than buying a new AK Bars jersey!

I don't have any plans for it, I just always liked their jersey and wanted to pick one up.

Can anyone tell me anything about him as a player? Doesn't appear he was ever a huge offensive force, but he played for several years.

So...has anyone seen Evegeny Skachkov's play Traktor Chelyabinsk recently so they can give a scouting report to Blues fans? He just signed a 3-yr ELC with St. Louis, and his HF-profile is a bit outdated.

haven't seen him much, he's a hard working kid with a scoring touch. Hope he gets a shot to make the team.

He's playing for Spartak in the MHL, a pretty good player - Blinov likes him and calls him for the u20 NT...

After the MHL, is the next step Spartak in the KHL, or is there another league (similar to the AHL maybe) in between?

There is KHL (NHL of Europe)

VHL (Vysshaya Hockey League) Also RUS-2 (AHL of Europe)

Russian First League (Pervaya Liga) Also RUS-3 (ECHL of Europe)

Russian Second League (Vtoraya Liga) Also RUS-4 (Poor league lol)

MHL (CHL of Europe)

The difference is that a guy of 17 years old can play in RUS-2. In NA you cant

i think it's NHL of Russia and etc, not Europe, even though there are some ex-soviet teams in the KHL and MHL
