Just watch this video to understand how terrible O'Sullivan was last season:

For your sake, please stop bringing his name up. You lump him into the same category as other far more talented former Kings who have long departed (which is a joke), and your fascination with this lazy bum is bordering on creepy levels.

Toronto has an NHL team?

I think JJ is in the Kings long term plans. So he has an edge to him, maybe it will translate on the ice.

To be fair.. I've also seen people say that they think Scott Parse is capable of scoring 30..

It has left me wondering if there is an underlying statement he was trying to make to the organization. I am eagerly awaiting this to get on Kingsvision so I can watch this again.

Me and my conspiracy theories...
Odd? Doesn't EVERYONE hate the Flyers?

About the Flyers-Johnson "thing".

It's not necesarily bad to be hated, on the contrary really.
And isn't this what Kings management really means with "hard to play against"? Hopefully Johnson blossoms into a smart mean sob.

You're both crazy if you don't think that POS and Parse have the capability to score 30 goals in the NHL. They both have the talent to do so. What they seemingly lack so far is the consistent compete level to actually reach those goals.

They are both very talented players capable of putting the puck in the net and neither is so old as to completely discount their capability of doing so. However unlikely you view those outcomes to be does not mean that the capacity to do so does not exist.

EDIT: I predict Parse nets 25 this year...

You have to pay more attention. Lombardi exiles players to Calgary or Edmonton, not Toronto.

Did some of us forget the massive about of **** that Hartnell was spewing at Johnson all game the last time the two teams met?

Multiple Flyers were trying to get under Johnson's skin. It was pretty blatant.

I remember that game very well. There's even of pic of JJ laughing at him.

Still only a couple of times though...he has seen guys like Burrows, Clutterbuck , Perry, and Ott a whole lot more.

I was just airing some out loud thoughts...there is probably nothing to it...

I'm not on that boat, but I can see where it's possible. Parse does have a pretty good shot, and did score 11 in 59 games of 3rd and 4th line minutes.

30 may be a long shot, but if he plays on a line with Brown and Stoll he could potentially pot 20+. Richardson, however, will be competing for that spot as well as I don't see Richy wanting to play 4th line center all season.

And don't forget Lappy was trying to get JJ to go after the hit on Smyth when they were with the avs, but papa Blake wouldn't let him. Johnson's first fight was against Carcillo when he was with the 'Yotes. Let's face it, there are a lot of guys on that team that Johnson has had run-in's with, I'd be surprised if the flyers weren't the team he hated the most.

Yeah, I ran into Lappy in Vegas his last season with the Avs and he mentioned that he thought Jack was a good kid with a bright future.

Jack Johnson hates Drew Doughty.

Wouldn't even let him fly on the plane with him.

Couldn't his trade rumours at least be new ones?

As much as I dislike Spezza...he would be a good fit.

With our current roster, if Kopi were to get hurt, even for a month, it would be pretty devastating IMO.

True, but who the heck do you trade to get him here? Stoll, Johnson, and a 1st? Maybe throw in a couple of prospects not in our top-10?

Travis at Hockey Buzz is discounting it. Link and quote below. Just don't want to get us all riled up again, if it's not likely.

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Travi...rade/134/30187

"Eklund's reporting that the Senators and Kings are talking a potential trade that may or may not involve Jason Spezza. Haven't heard anything of the sort, and furthermore have two outright denials by sources in the Senators organization. I'll continue to dig and see what I can come up with, but for now it doesn't seem likely."

Where did this Doughty/Johnson rivalry come from again? They looked pretty cozy on the kissing cam.....
