This summer

I was just wondering, because I definitely felt this way. Thanks to the Habs amazing and unexpected playoff run, does anyone else feel like hockey season has come a lot earlier than normal? Like NHL Preseason has started, and the QMJHL season has officially started (Go Rocket).

So am I the only one, or has hockey season come back a lot earlier (the feeling of it being a lot earlier).

If you need me to rephrase this just message me or say so in the thread and I'll rephrase it.

To be honest I don't even think if we won the cup it would "feel" any faster but obviously technically it is.

I guess you could say in way it does.

I think its more the fact that we were proud of the team and felt something good was accomplished.
And less bitter and disappointed than the previous years first round exits.

That's true. I never really looked at it that way

It's weird for me.

I remember watching Game 5 at the Cage. We were down late, and at the point where the game was done, there wasn't enough time to come back. I remember the restaurant being empty, but being with these dumb girls who were crying and wanted to stay. I was in a hurry to get out and go drinking. For some reason, I had that feeling of not wanting to watch the Habs after than moment for like a really long time. I'm getting the itch back, but unlike last seasons where I was hungry after day one, I'm actually happy the offseason came when it did.
