I'm going to grad school in Buffalo now, so I'm going to try to go to the games in Buffalo and Toronto, but we'll see if ticket prices aren't insane this year.

I'm in Orlando so I'm going to the games in Tampa and maybe the weekend game in Sunrise.

Last year I went to the Friday night Tampa game and got front row club level seats for $50 from a scalper. The nose bleeds were $7.00 plus fees at the gate.

Welcome to Buffalo

My third year up here for school, gonna definitely get seats for the games here against the Sabres.

Plans for watching the team this year? I have a sling box but my internet connection is crazy bad. I think I'm gonna shell out for Center Ice but I don't know if the games are blacked out up here or not since we get MSG, but not the Rangers games...I should figure that out.

Ranger games are always blacked out here in Buffalo except for a few random times (I think it is just an error by the cable company when this happens).

Anyways I usually get Center Ice. No hi-def for most games, but at least i get to see the games

Ah, those random nights...love them.

What's really annoying is when on most nights the Sabres take up their SABRE channel, MSGHD, and MSG+HD. Three channels of a drunk Rick Jeanerrette is not what I call entertainment

If the channel is there, the game should be played. Stick the Sabres on their SABRE channel and MSG standard, give the Rangers MSGHD and the Isles/Devs MSG+. You have to think the ratings would be better instead of having three channels dedicated to the Sabres...right?

I'll be there (section 108 with my girlfriend whose a Sabres fan ), as for any help I can give you on that? I can't. I don't know anything about the downtown Buffalo area. I'd say find out where the Rangers are staying and go there? As for bars, I'm sure you could find something, as they say up here..."Buffalo is a drinking town with a football problem"

We sure have the best traveling/transplanted fanbase in the league.

I've been wondering, does the team take a bus, plane or train to road games in Philly/Boston?
