with the way he played last year I was sure he was destined for the AHL

I loved the signing one year ago but he was really bad for us.

When we signed Paul Mara, I was like: Okay he's 6'4" 219 lbs so he will bring some toughness at the D line. However, that wasn't the case at all! Even O'byrne appeared to be 3x times better than Mara. He is very far from his season 05-06 with Pheonix 15g 32a 47pts.

All in all, we didn't lose any pick to get him and I'm happy for him if a team wants to give him a try.

At the beginning he was not bad. He was in our top 5 points leader lol But he was injured a lot
