If he's not dead, that's realy good news, but this whole report will be known as the biggest fail ever.

R.I.P.

Sad to see him go and prayers go out to the Burns family. If there's a thin lining to this, it's that he is no longer suffering.

Oh look, Francois Gagnon and the french media aren't the only ones that screw up.

What a surprise.

Glad to hear he's still alive and kicking!

Wow major fails all over the place, even the Gazette reports it, and have a big article about it.

And i remember that in his last gigs on CKAC he was always saying that he didn't want the media to stir **** up around his illness... the wrost case happened today, poor Pat.

It's funny how this media fail comes the day after Gagnon's fail with jumping the gun and the captainship going to Gionta.

But again, should us fans really be surprised by all of this?

Twitter is making some news stories a bit difficult to comb through. When everyone is saying that he is dead, it's easy for people to just go along with it without even double checking to see if it's true. Unfortunately this applies to journalists as well.

Either way, I wish Pat good health and that all goes well.

Oops.

Where did the story of him being dead originate anyway? On someone's twitter?

I saw it on Yahoo news.
