Well, after watching that interview it has become very clear to me (and I'm surprised that no one else noticed this), but it is completely clear what has happened here.

Why wouldn't Hodgson want to play here? Its a challenge for him, the team is loaded with talent. We are the Red Wings of Canada (the dynasty wings for that matter). All of this media bs is so dumb. The kids going to answer questions with his play. Its just your typical Vancouver media that has put any doubt on him playing here. The guy is probably pissed that he has been injury ****ed the last little bit and expects more of himself. Hodgson will probably have a better career than the likes of Hall. Hes got the heart.

To be fair, you can have an argument without a right or wrong if you interpret things differently. I mean, when something is a fact, obviously not, but lots of arguments are just matters of opinion and don't always have a right and wrong.

I totally agree with you on this. The only thing I question is if maybe the ban was pushed more by Cody's side, his agent or parents. I don't know if it was of course, I'm curious though.
