WHAT?! I knew Pirri left, but D'Amigo too? Just when I thought the program was getting back to something quite respectable...

I'm not the last person on the planet to remember Airwolf?!

And Bieksa, Cory Schneider + the rights to Brendan Morrison for Jeff Carter.

He wasn't talking about the players.

He was offering three 8' statues, one of each player, made out of solid gold.

Come on now, you didn't really think that anyone was clueless enough to believe that Schneider + Bieksa + Morrison was worth Jeff Carter, did you?

How about 2010 Jeff Carter for 1993 Joe Carter.

Then my childhood wouldn't have been ruined.

Jeff Carter would be a walk machine. Phillies never would've lost.

to TOR: Jeff Carter

to Philly: Kaberle and

kaberle bolsters our defense even more, and skeletor (even though he hasnt aged well) brings the sort of veteran presence that can only be gained from two decades of battle against He-Man

Wait a minute. I just looked at Toronto's roster. They already have Jeff's Finger under contract and are clearly trying to complete the player. And that also goes a long way to explaining Carter's shots wide of the net with us. Dude's missing a finger.

We need Jeff Carter. But we need a complete Jeff Carter. $3.5 million is way too much for his finger, especially with 2 years remaining on its contract, but maybe we should start looking at acquiring Jeff's Finger after this season.

Since the Leafs have history with Kyle Wellwood, maybe we could trade them his brother Eric's intangibles and Yahoo (not worth Google) for Jeff's Finger. I'd also consider throwing in Blue Thunder - but definitely not Airwolf.

Anyway, I come from the Leafs board and would like to offer a very belated and sincere apology that this proposal reached your board. Embarrassing proposals are supposed to be kept a secret.

I honestly didn't even know that the Flyers had the rights to Airwolf, let alone actually having it under contract.

So Montreal has poutine, and Ottawa has the beaver tails. Does Toronto have any sort of regional cuisine that they could offer up?

And Kerins graduated. That's our top 3 scorers after Polacek.

I had deep fried pepperoni once in Toronto. It's the only place I've ever seen it. But I'm not 100% sure that they have a claim to that delicacy.

Not sure, but they had deep fried butter at the CNE in Toronto this summer. Arteries get clogged just thinking about it.
