Don't know but it will be on Philly TV, so maybe it will be somewhere.

More on the lines:

http://www.csnphilly.com/09/19/10/Po...087&feedID=695

Quote:
Flyers coach Peter Laviolette had some new lines to start the morning drills off Sunday:

Dan Carcillo-Danny Briere-Scott Hartnell
Mike Richards-Jeff Carter-Nikolai Zherdev
James van Riemsdyk-Claude Giroux- Bill Guerin
Ian Laperriere-Darroll Powe-Jody Shelley

Carter and Richards took turns at center on their line.

And guess what? Laviolette says that may happen in games, as well, with people switching positions.

“I’ve had a conversation with all the centermen and all of them feel they are better suited for the middle,” Laviolette said. “That’s what they’ve done, that’s where they’re comfortable. All of them can play the wing. They’ve all proven that at some point in time.

“I don’t have a direct answer for you as to who we’re turning into a right winger or a left winger. … We’re fortunate to be a position where we have four centermen to fill those top three spots and have three lines that can go out and hurt you.

“If that’s the case, I told those guys, you may find yourself on wing for a game or part of a game. Maybe you mix it up shift to shift. If Carter and Richards are on the ice together, I doesn’t it really matters who plays center. Cartsy (Carter) can play and Richie (Richards) can play.

“Same with Richie and Giroux. If we’re healthy all year and I have to battle that, then it’s a good thing.”

Is Comcast broadcasting any of the Flyers/Devils preseason?

Hey guys,
Devils fan coming in peace. As much as I'd hate to watch your team put a solid hurting on mine again, I'm really dying for hockey to start. Do you all know if Comcast/maybe their website is broadcasting any of the Flyers/Devils preseason games?
Thanks in advance.

MSE, or anyone I guess... is there something special with this game? The Flyers had asked us if we would turn in this game back to them in exchange for another regular season game. We did it, but they didn't say why.

Maybe just a ticket exchange as a measure of gratitude? Did you ask customer service?

My partner handled it.. (work partner), and I don't think he cared that much to ask.

Rehabbing (hip surgery). He's not expected to play Tuesday. No contact drills so far.

according to yahoo, Kimmo has been skating with Meszaros in D pairings in camp

Quote:
D Kimmo Timonen and newcomer Andrej Meszaros have been playing as a defensive pair in September scrimmages.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/teams/phi/report under the roster report heading

I know its just camp and nothing is set and stone, but that would mean D looks like this

Pronger-Carle
Timonen-Meszaros
Coburn-O'Donnel

Walker/Bartulis

thoughts?

Coburn skated with Carle.

So it could turn out to

O'Donnell - Pronger
Timonen - Meszaros
Coburn - Carle

I actually would consider Walker with Timonen and trade one of Coburn and Carle for a goalie...who knows.

Oh, I hope those aren't the regular pairings. Coburn-Carle was a disaster every time they were together, and I don't want O'Donnell getting Pronger-type ice time.

If Pronger plays with O'Donnell can we call it the Old Geezer pairing?

I love preseason for all the crazy line combos. At least here they hurt nothing and you never know who can gell. Maybe we'll see a Shelly Briere Zherdev or they will pair Bart with Timmonen or something wierd. On the center front I like that Lavvy intends to let all 4 be centers at various times. He'll figure it out.

TV Guide is saying nothing about the game on TCN tomorrow night. Is that wrong?

Edit: Nevermind. I am probably not getting TCN-PH, despite being between NY and Philly.

I think Panaccio said or wrote that he would need some work.
Hasn't sounded like a massive problem.

Did Tim find that out himself or was he told that by Bob's translator?

So long as he isn't as bad as Arturs Irbe (whose scouting report in THN once said, "Turns simple dump-ins into live hand grenades"), I'll take a mediocre handler so long as he can stop the puck.

Those out of the market will be happy to know the game in on the NHL Network.

Boring camp so far. Not a peep about anyone really. The beat writers and bloggers havent even pimped a Ryan Dingle type player so far.
