I gave my sister's roommate a Carcillo shirt for her bday. She's a pens fan and hates Carcillo but she absolutely loved the shirt. And that ladies and gentlemen is how we break them in.

John Danks just cost me a championship appearance in my one baseball league. The good news is it looks like I'll be in the championship in my other league (which is for money, but I probably don't stand much of a chance).

I've been scoreboard watching all night instead of doing work.

I missed Richie's goal... turned it on about 3 minutes too late!

Flyers/Washington Game 7 from 2008 is on now. It's incredible how many players are gone in two short years.

Pierre is interviewing Stick Man Stevens at the moment.

Not to hijack the OT thread and make it a distinct Flyers convo, but it's what happens when your GM doesn't realize success doesn't have to necessitate turnover.

Unfortunately it does, when you pay Randy F'ing Jones $2.5 million.

somehow an enormous moth got into the house. I can't quite catch him, and I don't like this.

I've got no link, but apparently the Hartford Wolf Pack is changing their name to the Connecticut Whale.

is it one of these?

if it is, you're going to need a bigger newspaper, and it'll likely need to be on fire.

So instead of Whalers, they go with Whale? So instead of describing their occupations, they describe most of their residents.

(couldn't resist)

How ****ing gay is it that my boss just came back today after being out a month for knee surgery, hasn't even been here for 3 hours, and already made me feel like ****? The only thing holding me on anymore is the fact that my manager told me she's moving me back to my old desk in a few weeks. She said my working environment is very unhealthy, and she is totally correct.
