Kessel was amazing in the tournament, he got 9 goals and 7 assists in 6 games. The 2nd leading goal scorer only scored 4 goals and the the 2nd point scorer only had 8 points..and some players played an extra game then Phil!

I have no question that he will be picked 1st overall in the 2006 draft, from what ive heard hes most likely going to be 1st picked. Though im bases all this on sources and from what people who seen him play and the other top prospects in the 2006 draft.

usa has some real good players and future high 1st round picks, but keep in mind that they have a HUGE advantage over all the other teams in that the US u-18 squad has been playing together all year. the teams for other countries were thrown together for this tourney

Canada didn't have their best players. Enough said.

Always a reason... if the US wins, then it must be a sham

Sure no Crosby or Brule, but you can at least give respect where respect is due.

Respect and credit are two different things. Don't confuse them.

Congratulations to the USA on their U-18 victory.

USA didn't have a few of their guys there either as some of them are playing in CHL playoffs as well. Beyond that, there's no point in belittling another nation's victories besides satisfing your own pride.

They still don't undertand that this whole thing is their fault for allowing a non hockey person, a NY lawyer no less, for being hired as the commish!

I do agree with this. On paper it made sense, and there's where it all went wrong. Were the Rangers in charge of that move as well?
