The game in Vancouver should be pretty close. There is no reason for the Flames to lose at home though.

I'd be surprised if we win either game... but that's to be expected with our top 11 guys and Hodgson all out...

At any rate i'm interest to see who competes!!!! Will be keeping an eye on the following in particular: Shirokov, Morrison, Schaefer, Hansen, Perreault, Oreskovich, Bolduc, Glass, Rypien as the competition for the 4th line heats up.

I predict mass confusion in this thread once the games kick off.

Good grief, does Calgary think these games count for something? Which vets aren't playing for them? Just Jokinen?

Actually, Jokinen is playing. I mistakenly left him out.

there should be 2 - GDTs.

Less confusion that way.

Also, I bet Flames lose both.

double header baby.

I like how AV left out our best players. This will really give everyone a fair chance to shine.

Between the 2 games I'm guessing a total of 9 fights.

HAhahahahhahahah @ Flames dressing all their good players in the game in Calgary. The insecurity amazes me. I'm glad we have this much depth at training camp.

Flames will look pretty stupid if one of their vets gets hurt by a fringe guy desperate to make an impact.

I'm curious to see how Tambellini, Perrault, and Schroeder do against Calgary's (mostly) full squad.

Aw yeah, I have been so waiting for this season to begin.

And it's 70's night at Rogers Arena:

What other Canucks do you think about when you think of the 70's?

I'll be looking forward to the home game. There are several players I will be looking forward to see play.

Oreskovich
Torres
Malhotra
Sweatt Brothers
Schneider

I was quite confused when I opened the thread! Two threads would be a good idea, as mentioned.

The Flames in Calgary looks like Panthers North. The Flames in Vancouver looks like Maple Leafs West.

Oh well, these may be the only to legitimate chances the Flames have at beating us this year.

It is active. But I don't think they are showing the Vancouver game. They are showing the Calgary game though.
