I'll be there cheering on Bobrovsky, hoping he plays the second half.

Here's a little memory from Trial on the Isle.

From the interviews it seems that Shelly, Bobo, and Holmstrom are all playing. That is all I have heard.

Here's a quote regarding future games. Something to keep in mind for preseason games, each team is required to dress a minimun eight veterans per the CBA:

Read more: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/...#ixzz10ApaZvkx

Quote:
When asked which veterans would play Tuesday, the coach would say only that he wasn't "100 percent sure. And I don't know if everybody knows."

Left winger Jody Shelley, a 10-year NHL veteran whom the Flyers signed via free agency in July, acknowledged he would play.

Shelley and the other veterans likely won't see much ice time. The preseason games will give the younger and borderline players a chance to impress the coaching staff.

"Evaluating players the best way for me is in games," Laviolette said. "There will be players in there [Tuesday], new players, young players, old players, veteran players. And we'll see where everybody is at."

The Flyers coaches will watch to see how well players apply what they've learned at camp in a game.

"You can over go over things in practice, but [Tuesday] there will be mistakes made," Laviolette said. "That's an opportunity to go back" to do more teaching and determine areas of improvement, he said.

He may have a lot to critique in the coming days.

One group of Flyers will travel to London, Ontario, on Thursday for the preseason game with Toronto and then fly back. Another group will go to Toronto on Friday for that day's game against the Maple Leafs before heading to Minnesota.
CBA:
Quote:
Article 15.3(d):
A Club shall be permitted to dress a minimum of eight (8) veterans for any Exhibition Game. For purposes of this Section, a veteran shall constitute either: (1) a forward or defenseman who played in thirty (30) NHL Games during the previous season, (2) a goaltender who either dressed in fifty (50) or more NHL Games or played in thirty (30) or more NHL Games in the previous season, (3) a first round draft choice from the most recent year’s Entry Draft or (4) any Player who has played one-hundred (100) or more career NHL Games.

Please don't pair Carle with idiot stick!

NHL Network has the Stanley Cup Playoffs listed in lieu of the game on my DirecTv guide. Hopefully they will update.

I wouldn't be worried. A lot of season ticket holders have this game but don't want to go and pay for parking just for pre-season, I'm sure it's legit.

Actually, we were given opportunity to switch tonight's game for two seats elsewhere for a regular season game.
