Honestly two threads will probably be just as confusing as one if not moreso -- people are going to inevitably post in the wrong one, especially if they're watching both games simultaneously. Then get jumped on for posting in the wrong thread, then go post the same thing in the other thread, and it'll just end up being a big mess.
So yeah, I vote for a single thread, it shouldn't be *that* hard to follow. Like if I say "wow what a stupid play by Bieksa (just as an example ) then it's obvious which game I'm talking about.
LOL @ Flames fans and their insistance that we like being "preseason champs" just cause we happen to win a majority of preseason games (like teams play to lose). And unlike the Flames, we don't do it by loading up our teams with our best players.
Although here's a fun fact to kick off the year. The Flames have won three playoff series in the past twenty seasons, all came in one season
I have to chuckle at those that are upset that the Vancouver game isn't on TV. Back in my day there was no such thing as pre-season hockey on TV, let alone 7/8 pre season games (and all 82 regular season games).
I remember back in the day where we'd get like 15 games on BCTV with good ole Bernie Pascal and Howie Meeker, and 10 games on HNIC. Mind you back in the 80's, there wasn't much to look forward to for those games...

.... uphill both ways, during a snow storm, with no cell phones, no internet... yeah, we get the point.

I take it Burrows will be commentating on the game in Calgary, the televised one?
I believe it's the opposite; from what I understand Shorty and Garrett will be back in the chairs for the SPAC game. Ball and Burrows will handle the radio and online stream call.
Hey, sad to see you guys aren't dressing any stars, especially considering we don't see you guys in the regular season until December... but I'll take any hockey at this point! Looking forward to seeing Eddie Lack, I heard he was god-like in the prospects tourney.
Also: our tall ass goalie prospect is taller than your tall ass goalie prospect.

But is he better than our tall ass guy? Seriously, who is he? He must be huge if our Stork
makes The Monster look like a gerbil.

It's even more sad to see Calgary dressing all their starters vs our prospects. Good luck with the "bounce back" season. OH!
Obviously Sutter just trying to one up Gillis. We signed Lack first then Sutter quickly went after a taller goalie.

I love how [some] Flames fans touted they had the best and deepest prospect roster in the Young Stars tournament and would win it easily. Yup, so much depth that they don't have enough to fill up a full team so they need to play ALL their vets.
