Breezer, the guy was soft as Charmin but he never deserved the crap he got from the media and fanbase. He was paid like a number 1 D at the time but couldn't live up to those expectations, not his fault though as the team was craptastic at the time. Was really impressed when he came back after what he went through.

A.Kost, frustrating yes...but he's our only guy in the top 6 who has finesse and can lay you the **** out (better than anyone else on this team...even Moen).

Bulis

O'Byrne

Ribeiro, I was the fanboy on the boards back then, always said it was a mistake trading him (especially for J.Niinimaa)

Marcel Hossa....

Unfortunately.. what they all have in common ?! All of them never worked as expected for so many different reasons, mostly mismanagement by the GMs, coachs, etc.... except fot Marcel Hossa who was just lazy...

My new lover now is Lars Eller and for the sake of this team, he better turn out to be something special !!

Oh Gawd. Here we go. Again.

From way back Tom Kurvers. I thought he had a great duo with Chelios. Never understood why they traded him. He was a good skater and was great on the PP, good shot.

I liked Hal Gill when he was unpopular if that counts.

Pacioretty is not real popular either but I like him and I think the rest of the Pouliot fans are quietly waiting to see what happens, but I can say I am a fan.

I always liked Craig Ludwig too, but that was before HF so I don't know if he was popular or not.

I really liked Nik Sundstrom's game and thought he got a bad rap for no reason.
I felt the same with Mike Johnson who I thought played very well with us. Antoher guy I liked was Chipchura and thought that people didn't appreciate all the right things.

I feel as though the defensive guys get ragged on a lot and find that most people don't appreciate all the little things they do right.

Right now, on the current team, I'll say Gomez, if he's considered unpopular. Again, he might not score 30 goals, but he does things right at both ends of the ice and I think that's important.

Well he did make that terrible mistake in game 3 against Tampa which led to the game tying goal late in the game by Lecavalier and then eventually the OT winner by Richards,I was at that game and I was really really pissed. Not saying we would have won that series but it could have made things interesting
